Faeit 212 Artist's Showcase: Ichiban Painting Studio

This week we have another treat for you, the Ichiban Painting Studio's Hugo, is the artist for this weeks showcase. There is some amazing work here, so check it out.

This hobby is about many things, but one of the few things it is not often called is art. By any terms of work, or artistic creativity, there are many Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Fantasy models found throughout the world that are pure artwork at its finest. From painting, sculpting, and to customization, this hobby produces some of the best, and this is their showcase.

Hello guys! My name is Hugo I'm the man behind the ever growing. Ichiban Painting studio. Over at the studio I basically do commission painting, but I do take a big amount of my time working creating youtube videos for fellow modelers and hobbyist out there. Blog address http://ichibanpainting.com/

I've been in the painting world for over 20years now and starting commission work about 7 years ago, I then moved on into the wonderful Internet market last January. Currently I'm finishing a big ultramarine commission so my most recent work does feature a lot of Ultramarines but I do have other models in the works. If you want to learn some of the technique Ive used in the pictures showcased in this article you can visit my YouTube channel at http://youtube.com/ichibanpainting

I also have a big library of my most recent work on Flickr here http://www.flickr.com/photos/ichibanpainting and lastly I'm pretty active on twitter at http://www.twitter.com/ichibanpainting

Hope you guys enjoy the pictures
Cheers for reading
