With the new edition for Age of Sigmar here in the blink of an eye there are new FAQs for each faction ready to go so that each army is ready to play.

The new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar is so close we can almost taste it,* which means we’re due a few updates for all of the factions that’ll be duking it out over the Mortal Realms – and wouldn’t you know it, they’re right here. FAQs for every faction currently in the game are available from the bottom of this page, and to take us through how the changes ensure your faction plays smoothly in the new edition, the Warhammer Studio team is on hand to offer their words of wisdom.

These documents are designed to ensure that every faction works as intended alongside the new edition and to bring existing commentaries and errata in line with the rules found in the Core Book.

In some cases, rules have been deleted as they are no longer required, but if a rule has been removed, it’s because it has been addressed in the core rules. The commentaries in these documents also include new entries to answer some of the common questions that will arise from these changes.

The way we present our designers’ commentaries and errata is changing too. Going forwards, these documents will be presented in a single PDF rather than across two.

In these new files, we’ve also included updates for all of the faction terrain, endless spell, and invocation warscrolls that appear across the game. These have all been updated to work with the new core rules and to represent the power that endless spells and invocations will have in your battles.

The overall improvements we’ve made to endless spells and invocations have seen their power increased considerably. We wanted to take this opportunity to really drill into what makes endless spells and invocations unique; how they are both different in terms of background and mechanics; and how they can provide more interesting interactions on the battlefield. We look forward to seeing your responses to these changes.

As always, please do not hesitate to send your feedback on any aspect of Warhammer Age of Sigmar to AoSFAQ@gwplc.com. It can be about points, rules, the observations of your local group, or providing battle reports so we can understand your experiences in greater detail. Any time you can spend sending in feedback is greatly appreciated.

That’s all for now, we hope everyone has a great launch weekend!
