Pure Kabalite Dark Eldar 1500 Review

I have always avoided posting reviews for any lists sent to me, but I decided that I would start. First off a couple guidelines.

1. I will not post the senders name. If you want to be known, please post it in the comments.
2. Any rude comments to the poster will be removed. Be constructive.
3. If you have to be a little drama queen do it somewhere else, and take your petty ego with you.
4. All my comments in the response are my opinion and "may be wrong". Please add yours, perhaps we can all learn something

Here is the list, 1500pts. Looking to play in a tournament.

I'm looking to try and do a pure kabalite army, but would compromise if you really felt the list needed it.

Archon - Blaster, Agoniser and Shadowfield. (125 total)

Trueborn x 9 - Shredder x 4, Shardcarbine x 5 (153 total)
Raider - Night Shields, Flickerfields, Disintegrator Cannon, Grisly Trophies (85 total)

Warriors x 10 - Sybarite
Raider - Flickerfield, Nightshield, Splinter Racks (190 Total)

Raider - Flickerfield, Nightshield, Splinter Racks (190 Total)

Warriors x 10 - Sybarite
Raider - Flickerfield, Nightshield, Splinter Racks (190 Total)

Warriors x 10 - Sybarite
Raider - Flickerfield, Nightshield, Splinter Racks (190 Total)

Ravager - Flickerfield, Nightshield (125 total)
Ravager - Flickerfield, Nightshield (125 total)

Total - 1498 / 1500

My response: Lets start with the base.

Warriors: Your warrior squads are under-utilized. Nightshields and Splinter Racks conflict with each other, since you can only move that raider 6" and fire. You only get to re-roll splinter rifles, so you will be within 24" of your enemy. The night shields wont matter so much and probably need to go. That will save you 10 pts to add in a splinter cannon to each warrior unit and or a Blaster if we shed all your upgrades on the raiders. 10 Warriors with a blaster and splinter cannon on a raider are a nice unit to have in your list.

Raiders/Ravagers: I think you have too many points wrapped up in your raider upgrades. As much as I would like to say that will keep your raiders alive, it wont. Lets cut down the over-all cost of these. Your Disintegrator ravager should have no upgrades, and place it in reserve against shooting armies. when it comes in it will move 12" and shoot 9 shots at 36" at a key point of the enemy anywhere on the board. The lance ravagers, I think you should choose one or the other flickershields or nightshields. unless there are just extra points to throw around. I prefer no upgrades.

Trueborn: Lets look at trying to get a second unit of these in. start with the minimum of 3 special weapons on  guys. ( I personally do not like shredders, and prefer blasters) If ya like em, go for it. See if you can trim them down and get a second unit in. I was able to. People like to kill your trueborn when they are small units with lots of special weapons. It keeps them off of your troops.

With no upgraded raiders and ravagers I was able to get the 4x10 warrior/raiders with blaster and splinter cannon. 3 ravagers, and 2x 3man blaster trueborn/raiders. Also included two archons, both with blasters some points to spare.
