Gerry McCabe (On Tabletop/Beasts of War) is among the international artists who answered the Kromlech call to support this Ukrainian refugee relief raffle. He chose this incredible foot-tall Deffstompa by Kromlech, and collaborated with others to add a working smoke machine inside, as his donation to the cause. Gerry and On Tabletop shared some of the details:
"Designed alongside the team at Kromlech, creating the Deffstompa was a fascinating project that looked at how to add drama and dynamic effects to your miniatures. Wayne's Workshop were kind enough to get involved and offer up the kit that was used for the interior of the Deffstompa. It not only shows off what an established company like Kromlech offers but also what smaller creators can do.
"The painting was done using the Army Painter range and the smoke and lights are part of the Costronica system by Wayne's Workshop. Adding this to an Ork army will give you a fantastic centerpiece model that looks distinct from anything else. Firing up that smoke machine then turns it into quite the spectacle!"
