It’s been a few years since I last sent something in, but saw your recent contest and couldn’t resist. This year has been one of my most productive in the last few, I’ve taken more time to invest in myself, whether it may be learning something new or painting. This year in particular, I’ve been trying to really get on my Adeptus Mechanicus backlog so I can start my boxes of Sisters guilt-free. I’ve gone through a couple Dunecrawlers, a Dragoon, and most recently, these two Armiger Warglaives.
It was both a joy and a pain to paint these two figures. Once I first started down the road of NMM, I haven’t been able to go back, and that has definitely slowed down my painting. Anyway, these have been the largest models I’ve painted up to date, and it was certainly challenging to figure out how to paint such large flat panels. Hope I pulled it off!
