<i>I've been meaning to submit this monster for a long time. The goal was a more in-theme Maulerfiend being constructed by a Sorcerer on the battlefield - with some vibes from the jaguar monster from The Road to El Dorado (and God bless Sir Elton John). He's the most ambitious conversion project I've ever taken on. I'm pretty happy with how he turned out - if I had to do it again (shudder) I would kink up the very straight rod that connects his two torso sections. For the Sorcerer, I used leftover bits from the Rubric Sorcerer kit but I didn't have more legs... </i><br>

Yea, while we have had a ton of rumors looking towards a new edition, and they are starting to trickle in, 9 edition does seem to be on it's way and may have already just arrived at US warehouses.<br>
<br>
Space Marine vs Necron Box set seems like a good candidate for the release, and what we are expecting out of 9th edition is a direct upgrade and refinement to the current edition. (not an earth shattering change to the game). We look to the Psychic Awakening books which they would not realistically invalidate as a new edition as some security to any main game changes.<br>
<br>
However, COVID 19 has most likely put a damper on this release.... so only time will tell what it will mean.<br>

I know we have brought this up before, but this model of operations is quite wonderful and I am excited to see it through (maybe even get a dumbed down resin printer type of thing). The idea of Patreon or subscription with being able to purchase individual STLs or even the finished miniatures for those of us without access to a printer is really catching on.<br>
