Terrain Releases to bring a Classic Necromunda Style Look to your games.

The new releases for Necromunda will bring back the classic look for the game going verticle. Although quite a bit more expensive, its an awesome way to build these games.

1 – The Classic Look

With the Zone Mortalis: Columns and Walls kit you can recreate the classic Zone Mortalis setup. As well as the expected columns and walls, the set also includes doors and optional components such as a computer terminal, water tank, pipe covers and door access pads. This is the perfect way to create an underground bunker or the claustrophobic depths of a space hulk.

2 – Take it Higher

Take your gaming into the third dimension with Zone Mortalis: Platforms and Stairs. The platforms fit on top of the Zone Mortalis columns to create a raised surface to fight over and the stairs give you the necessary access.
For those gang members who are fond of climbing, the set also includes ladders and, for fans of underhive muzak, a lift. Finally, because health and safety is so important in the underhive, the kit also includes railings to stop any fighters accidentally falling from a great height.*

3 – Build it Bigger

Create an even larger battlefield with the Zone Mortalis: Hive Warzone! Not only does it contain columns, walls, platforms and stairs but it also comes with a set of pipes and conduits, alongside barricades and objectives.
The kit includes a light, card playmat too so you can build a Necromunda or Kill Team battlefield straight out of the box. Of course, if you’d rather build up rather than out, then all of the Zone Mortalis columns can be stacked to give you as much height as you want.**
After that, the sky’s the limit! The Zone Mortalis kits have been designed to be as interchangeable as possible, meaning that you can easily combine multiple sets to build some incredible scenery. It’s also fully compatible with all of the Sector Mechanicus terrain so the only real limitation to what you can create is your imagination. For some inspiration, check out this awesome display at Warhammer World.
The Zone Mortalis kits are available to pre-order from Saturday. If you can’t wait, the Necromunda: Dark Uprising boxed set includes all of the terrain from the Hive Warzone kit along with two gangs, a rulebook and everything else you need to play Necromunda – grab a copy here.
