What's On Your Table: Contrast Paints: Rum and Bones

These aren't great minis- they are from "Rum and Bones"- a okish board game with soft plastic minis. This is the Maztec's Curse expansion- well about half of it.
And a group of minis that are accessories for "Tokaido"- more like tokens than minis in the traditional sense.
I did this to prove if contrast paints could enable quick painting of groups to a satisfactory standard. Each group took 2 sessions with 3 or 4 phases of drying in each session. So pretty good.
What did I learn- 3 colours and a metalic or 2 makes lovely looking bright minis- if that's what you want (and you often do for board games)
You can correct- but try to do it before the next contrast- especially for skin.
You can go back and fill-in where you missed.
Use a small brush but load it- then test- then paint.
Anyway, not my best stuff, but good enough for these games, quick, much better than old school approach- note the guys with the hats- would do these guys using dry brush and old techniques with a touch of contrast- the guys with bare chests- contrast is perfect, all contrast works well. (enough)
Might go back and clean up the hat dudes.
