There’s some cool new stuff on the way from Forge World, including a Blood Bowl Star Player straight from the garden! Jim & Bob go back to their roots to take a look, and then you can find out how to get your hands on him first – along with a bunch of other exclusive Forge World models – at Warhammer Fest.
What’s New With Jim & Bob
Jim: Hello, horticulture fans, and welcome to the latest episode of What’s New With Jim & Bob. I’m here with my green-fingered co-host, Bob Bifford.
Bob: Hi Jim, when did we become a gardening show? I thought we were here to talk about Blood Bowl.
Jim: Well, this week, we’re branching out and taking a look at the comeback of Star Player Deeproot Strongbranch.

Bob: He looks even bigger than ever!
Jim: Well Bob, it turns out that unsuccessful Blitzers make great fertiliser!
Bob: At least his team will be able to use him as shade on a sunny day.
Jim: Not only that, but he can throw them downfield to score touchdowns.
Bob: If I had a woodpecker drilling into my skull, Jim, I’d want to throw people too!
Jim: Well, he’ll be a tree-mendous addition to any Halfling team, adding some much needed physicality.
Bob: I just hope that his bark isn’t worse than his bite, Jim.

Forge World at Warhammer Fest
Deeproot Strongbranch will be available for pre-order soon but Warhammer Fest attendees will be able to get their hands on him this Saturday! If you head to the Forge World sales area, you’ll not only be able to find a massive selection of fantastic models, but also event exclusives and some miniatures available to purchase for the very first time. Blood Bowl fans will also be able to pick up a Mutated Minotaur, while Necromunda players with a few spare creds can recruit Hired Guns Yar Umbra and The Deserter.

White Scars and Blood Angels players will be able to add new heroes and units to their Horus Heresy armies and there are some pre-release delights for Middle-earth adventurers too! You’ll be able to grab event exclusives as well, including a Horus Heresy Praetor and Traitor Librarian, both in Cataphractii Armour, a rare Imperial Knight head and Legio Custodes Tribune Ixion Hale. You can also get your hands on Sanguinius with his epic diorama base.

There will be a limited number of these models available across the weekend, so make sure you get to the Forge World stand nice and early!
