The Hexgorger Skulls

We’ve all been there  you rock up to your gaming night with your Khorne army and end up facing the sorcerous wrath of the Legions of NagashSacrosanct Stormcast Eternals or Disciples of Tzeentch, and Khorne is demanding that these cowardly, duplicitous magic users be shown the error of their ways. That’s where the Hexgorger Skulls come in. These make casting much harder for nearby Wizards, and can even cause them to forget spells entirely!

The Bleeding Icon

Khorne is known for many things, but subtlety is not one of them. Sure, there are more cunning ways to smash your foes  but dropping a massive, blood-soaked block of brass on them from the Realm of Chaos beats all of them on style alone. The Bleeding Icon allows you to crush enemies and makes failed battleshock tests even worse, pairing excellently with the bravery-reducing Khorgorath or a Khorne-marked Chaos Knights.

The Wrath-Axe

Who needs magic when you can fling an interdimensional axe at someone? The Wrath-Axe is a straightforward Judgement of Khorne that deals mortal wounds to your enemies, then deals some more, then reduces your foes’ hit rolls, then spits at them to add insult to injury. (We may have made that last one up.)

The Skull Altar

Skull Altars are dread monuments raised by the servants of Khorne in veneration of their gory master. In-game, the Skull Altar is available to your Khorne army for no matched play points and lets your Slaughterpriests re-roll prayer and judgement rolls when they’re nearby! This allows you to ensure a key Blood Blessing goes off and that you can deliver the Wrath-Axe to your enemy’s face with greater reliability. It’ll also further disrupt enemy Wizards, so if you pair it with the Hexgorger Skulls, it’ll be incredibly hard for sorcerers of all stripes to even use the most meagre of spells against you. We can already hear the Blood God laughing…
The Judgements of Khorne and the Skull Altar will be available to pre-order this weekend, alongside Battletome: Blades of Khorne
