Next week’s a big one for fans of Warhammer Underworlds, Adeptus Titanicus: The Horus Heresy, and the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game, with new releases for all three games bringing new miniatures, expansions and much more.
Warhammer Underworlds players will be getting two new warbands – the terrifying collections of creatures from the darkness that are Mollog’s Mob, and the Darkoath barbarians of the Godsworn Hunt.
Mollog’s Mob consists of Mollog the Mighty himself, a towering Troggoth who can sweep aside even the most powerful fighter in a single blow, alongside a trio of bizarre and brilliant fungal beasts – the Bat Squig, Spiteshroom, and Stalagsquig. Playing differently from any other warband in the game, Mollog’s Mob are a truly original experience for any Warhammer Underworlds player.

Led by Theddra Skull-scryer, the Godsworn Hunt are five Darkoath warriors (and their Chaos-touched hound, Grawl) from the Slaves to Darkness, vicious barbarians in the service of the Ruinous Powers. They provide a different tactical experience to the existing Chaos warbands, being armed with a combination of melee and ranged weapons, and are perfect for a dedicated servant of the Dark Gods who wants to try something new.

Each of these new warbands provides new miniatures and 60 cards, 29 of them exclusive to the warband in question, the rest usable in any deck. Both sets will add new tactics for any player with the new universal cards, and each of the new warbands plays really interestingly, providing a new tactical challenge for you and your opponents alike. You’ll also be able to order card sleeves and dice for both new warbands, with imagery designed to complement them.
Titandeath is the first-ever expansion for Adeptus Titanicus: The Horus Heresy, and delves into the largest engine war of the Heresy. It includes rules, traits and more for no fewer than eight different Titan Legions, as well as an in-depth campaign system, new maniples, six narrative missions and rules for fighting in hostile environments such as airless moons.

Joining Titandeath is a new variant of the Reaver Titan, boasting alternative weapons – a melta cannon, volcano cannon, chainfist and carapace-mounted turbo laser destructor, perfect for building a Reaver that’s a dedicated Titan hunter capable of taking down even a mighty Warlord. There are also new heads to add variety to your God-Machines.

And speaking of weapons, the Warlord Titan Plasma Annihilator Frame will allow you to customise your existing Warlords with plasma annihilators, laser blasters and the vicious Arioch Titan power claw. You asked to be able to buy this sprue separately – and now you can! All the weapons are designed to be magnetised, making it easy switch them out across your games.

Finally, three new transfer sheets add loads of new iconography for your Titans. Each sheet focuses on a different Titan Legion – Vulpa, Krytos & Solaria – plus their associated Knight House. These make adding detail to your Titans and Knights simple and give you all sorts of cool new imagery options for all your war engines.
In Middle-earth, you’ll be able to play through the battle between Minas Tirith and Mordor with the new expansion, Gondor at War. This tome contains 29 narrative play scenarios, complete with a detailed campaign system. In addition, you’ll find rules for new Heroes, an in-depth look at the armies that fought in these battles, and Legendary Legions – iconic armies from the War of the Ring such as the Rangers of Ithilien or the Army of Gothmog. Using these themed forces will feel like you’re playing out a piece of Middle-earth history on the tabletop!

You’ll also be able to reinforce your Good armies with a trio of new plastic miniatures for The Three Hunters – Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli as they appeared at the Pelennor. Also available will be a set of Three Hunters dice, each with a striking symbol of the trio’s weapons replacing the six.

Finally, the Middle-earth General’s Accessories Pack is an essential collection of aids for all players, including a warband roster pad, a fold-out core rules sheet and a range of handy tokens and measuring devices to speed up your games.

All of these new releases will be available to pre-order next Saturday, but you can start getting up to speed now with the Warhammer Underworlds: Nightvault Core Set, the Adeptus Titanicus: The Horus Heresy Rules Setand the Battle of Pelennor Fields boxed game.
