The Realms of Chaos have always been fascinating to read about... I know Heresy right?. Wrath and Rapture will dive into the realms with hopefully a ton of new information and insight into those realms. Lets take a look at what the Warhammer Community has to say about it this morning.

Describing the Realm of Chaos is the kind of task that drives a mortal mind mad. Imagine trying to count all the grains of sand on a beach, except every single grain is made of insanity and the beach is upside down and on fire. Do that, and you’re still not even close to grasping just how bonkers the Realm of Chaos is.
Nevertheless, with the Wrath and Rapture boxed set tearing its way reality, we’re attempting the impossible and providing you with a brief guide to this unknowable realm:
The Realm of Chaos is the domain of the Dark Gods. It is both timeless and formless – a place where the dreams and nightmares of mortals coalesce in a shifting, endless plane of madness shaped by emotion and in constant flux. While countless strange and hellish entities inhabit the Realm of Chaos, the strongest are the four great gods of Chaos.
These ruinous powers – Khorne, Slaanesh, Tzeentch and Nurgle – have claimed vast swathes of this bizarre realm for themselves, twisting it towards their malefic desires. In some ways, you could say that the Chaos Gods, their realms, and their many minions are all facets of the same unfathomable unreality. So, the labyrinths of crystal, endless plains of screaming skulls, festering gardens and palaces of kaleidoscopic sensory excess are all, quite literally, drawn from the deepest and most primal emotions of sentient creatures. If that’s confusing, we agree. Welcome to the Realm of Chaos.
Every corner of reality touched by the Realm of Chaos knows its bitter caress, as daemonic legions spill out of this otherworldly dimension and into the material world in pursuit of conquest. While the mortals they hunt may tend to see Chaos as a unified entity, they know little of the war that rages endlessly between them. The Dark Gods are locked in a constant battle for supremacy – which isn’t surprising when you consider how central conflict is to their very existence.
Their fractious nature and murderous rivalries mean that the Chaos Gods basically never stop fighting each other. This carnage often spills out into the real world, but the fiercest struggles take place within the realms of the gods themselves. Territorial invasions are commonplace, as packs of baying Flesh Hounds and serried ranks of Bloodletters rampage through Nurgle’s glorious fecundity or Seekers of Slaanesh and razor-tongued Fiends tear down the glittering towers of the Changer of Ways.
No rivalry, however, is as bitter as the eternal struggle between the God of Rage and the God of Excess. Khorne sees Slaanesh as utterly weak, unhinged and a complete affront to his violent and murderous nature, while Slaanesh needs the living to be, well, alive in order to entice them with excessive pursuits – nevermind finding the Blood God offensively dull and one-note. And this is where Wrath & Rapture comes in…
In Wrath & Rapture, you’ll have the chance to discover the Realm of Chaos for yourself – if you’re hungry for dark and forbidden lore in the meantime, grab yourself Codex: Chaos Daemons or Battletome: Blades of Khorne for more.
