I left yesterday I am on a overnight backpacking trip, my last outing of the year. Once my kids are older we do longer trips, and while it barely breaks into posting.... I am by now loading up and starting my trek back out of the woods. So give me a few hours and I will be back.
My oldest who is 11 did a 5 Day backpacking trip into the Olympic Rainforest this year to see the Enchanted Valley (also known as the valley of 100 waterfalls) and the mountain pass beyond. My youngest is 8, and this is the last year she does short overnight trips.
