Kill Team: Genestealer Cult Focus

Genestealer Cults are up next. Yesterday we saw the Adeptus Mechanicus Focus from the Warhammer Community and today they have turned to the sinister Genestealer Cults.

If you’re a fan of cunning tricks and ploys, you’ll love the Genestealer Cults – whether closing in on the foe at speed with their Cult Ambush rule or drawing on their various underhanded Tactics.
When building your kill team, you’ll have a huge range of deadly industrial weapons to pick from – allowing you to optimise each fighter and make sure your specialists look distinct.
You can really let your creativity run wild with a Genestealer Cult kill team. Infested Astra Militarum regiments, mutated hive gangs – with only a handful of models to build and loads of bits for converting, the choice is yours.
Neophyte Hybrids can be equipped as long-ranged support units with heavy weapons, as well as making great Scout or Medic specialists.
Acolyte Hybrids are special weapons troops with a twist, carrying a brutal array of close combat weapons that make them among the most lethal fighters in the game.
Equipped with grisly bio-weapons, Hybrid Metamorphs chew through lighter armoured troops with ease.
Big, tough, and very hard to kill, Aberrants might not be subtle – but who needs to be when you have a power hammer?
Absolutely terrifying in Kill Team, Genestealers are capable of hiding in cover before shredding enemies with their rending talons.

Genestealer Cults Tactics are designed to complement their mobility and general sneakiness by offering short, sharp boosts to their offensive power – and shoring up their fragile defences.
In Kill Team, obscured foes – that’s anyone who’s hiding behind cover – are much harder to hit. With this Tactic on your side, you’ll be able to ensure your mining lasers hit home.
Nobody gets the drop on a Genestealer Cultist – use this Tactic with a flamer-wielding Neophyte Hybrid, and you’ll be able to stop enemy assaults in their tracks, wherever they come from…
With 10 Neophyte Hybrids and some unique Genestealer Cults Tactics, the Kill Team box set is a great one for aspiring Patriarchs – you could even mix and match with the Skitarii to make a force from the Cult of the Bladed Cog! If you want to get stuck in right away, build yourself some heavy melee fighters with the Acolyte Hybrids set, available now – and stay tuned for tomorrow’s preview, when we’ll be looking at Adeptus Astartes kill teams.
