Parabellum. Conquest the Game.. Plus Review and First Look at the Miniatures

Conquest – the Last Argument of Kings is an upcoming game that will soon to be released (I don't yet have a target date) and is certain to be a big hit. Reviews from Adepticon and other conventions have loved the game and I am definitely loving the art and the miniatures Ive seen.

Adeptus Titanicus.. Will the Game Expand Into Infantry and Tanks... Xenos?

There are a lot of releases that we look forward to, but arguably Adeptus Titanicus is currently ranking up near the top of that list. Perhaps that is because we all want to see a return of Epic, or even that we have been hearing about this game for well over a year. Either way August will be a big month as we wait for the release of the game.

So the big question..... Will it ever see an expansion into other races like Orcs or Eldar? Will it see infantry and tanks?

Nighthaunt and Stormcast Battletomes, Heroes, Eternal Spells, and More

Its another big pre-order date for the Age of Sigmar, with Battletomes, new units, Heroes, and even faction specific Eternal Spells.

Hi there, Broodlord here. Ever since 8th came out I’ve been working on a deathguard army whilst trying to keep some of that grim dark that the newer cartoony sculpts eroded. Hence my deathguard force. I’m not a great painter but I think it makes an interesting change to current 8th armies. Whereas most of the models are from the Horus Heresy I’ve tried to convert (wings on M are magnetised) or atleast theme the army around a 40k setting.  It’s mostly marines but I couldn’t resist including Scabiethrax and a Drone. Hope you like it!

Hello there! Long reader of the blog but first time ever submitting any of my work. Been a patient painter for about two years now, looking forward to my first ever game of 40k as I close in on fully painted 2000 points. For the first time ever, I hit a "painters depression" where I compare my own work to other peoples and I find myself rather harshly criticizing myself, almost to the point where I just want to sell my own army and not bother painting again. I'm sure most of us struggle with motivation or similar feelings, so I would be interested in advice regarding that from the readers.

Culexus Assassins are my favourite assassins In any game/world and I wanted to make a completely individual one off assassin. To me the Culexus is supposed to be creepy looking and have an aura of terror around them, a combination of the Alien and ghosts/undead. I hope you like my take on the purest evil in 40k. I will be sending a couple of other Culexii conversions over once they are painted up.

I've been working on a new army for a while, and I managed to get some cool and evocative shots of them the other weekend. These are my new Steel Legion that I'm planning to use in some games recreating the 3rd War for Armageddon soon. I've used Death Korps models for the troops, but those of you old enough to remember Codex Armageddon will know that Death Korps were just a different paint scheme for Steel Legion originally anyway, so these boys are back where they belong!
