  1. So next week new eldar jetbikes?

    1. I really hope the box includes a jetbike mounted warlock or Farseer option, even if it only allows one (similar to how the Meganobz box allows the construction of one Mek).

    2. I honestly can't wait for the new jetbikes. I really wanted to do an eldar army when the new book dropped but those jetbikes are just awful so I waited. So glad I did now after seeing the harlequin stuff :)

    3. ^exactly the same thinking as me. I even considered buying those Russian jetbike sculpts based on Jes Goodwin's WIP from ages ago. Glad I didn't now.

I only hope jetbikes won't get nerfed or the points cost raised significantly.

    4. I got the kazakh jetbikes (not the recent russian version based on Jes Goodwin's concept), and GW will have to release something truly spectacular for me to regret it.

  2. Faster than the eye can see = eldar jetbike
The dying Return = codex eldar craftworlds
Forge world = latest news from FW or BG stuff from AdMech

    4. Whisperer of Truth is notorious for just taking other rumors and stacking them together the last couple times he's "leaked". I don't put much value in what he says.

    1. I feel like thats gotta be it. The solid rumor mongers said Skitarri and a main book released close together. I find it hard to believe GW has another line of admech just ready to go. I find it much more likely they'll use FW to complete the range.

      Delete
    2. Dr Bored where are you now?

      Delete
    3. Hah. I just don't see it happening like that.

There will be another Admech Codex come out, with more plastic kits. No FW models will be in that Codex. You want the FW admech? Go buy them and their rules.

    4. I never left Johnny. I just sit.

      And watch.

      And judge.

    5. Why is it so hard to believe? Six months ago, would you have believed that they had the line-up we've seen so far? I doubt anyone would have guessed the, what, four kits we've seen, which produce at least 7 units? Is it so hard to believe that they've got another handful of kits ready and waiting to be put out?

    6. People were all 'Harlequins? psh, GW will never do that' and then it happened. Then 'Admech? psh, GW will never do that' and then it happened... Now people are all like 'Genestealer Cult, Deathwatch, Craftworld Eldar? psh, GW will never do any of that'

    7. IA 14, from what FW said at a weekender, is planned to be Tau-centric. It's where the R'varna and Y'vahra will end up, plus a rumored Tau gargantuan creature riptide...

      Delete
    8. F@ck tau, give me more Martian love lol

      Delete
    9. Im pretty sure all the Superheavy Tau rumours where centered on a tank? Or was there any new rumours I've missed?

      Delete
    10. The only thing they said was "it's NOT going to be a flyer" so, either a super-heavy tank, or a a SH walker/gargantuan creature suit.

      Delete
    11. well at least FW are doing something about things that arent space marines

      Delete
    12. More like they're doing something about things that aren't HH...

      Delete
    13. I'd expect FW to release a "red book" style collection for HH Mechanicum first. When I asked if they were planning that (at GenCon last year) the response I got was "Pretty likely, but not until after we've released more Mechanicum units."

In other words, I don't expect a red book release until after the HH series covers the Martian Civil War. And then maybe a 40k crossover IA to unlock those things for us in the modern era.

Still, I'd love to see it happen!

    14. I just don't see GW dedicating another 3/4 weeks to admech so soon. If anything they've been very randomized in what's getting done. I also don't think sales would be that great of new admech stuff when they've already expected people to drop $50 per 55pt model that you need multiple of, and similar for the dunewalker. We've also have no solid rumor of what the "full admech" release would consist of, while we've had rumors and pictures of Skitarri units for months. If rumor mongers were sure of this, wouldn't we have heard of anything by now???

      Delete
    15. A full Admech codex makes sense, they know how popular robots and such are. A FW book with rules for FW units in 40K is also now inevitable. They have 40K rules for almost every Space Marine 30K vehicle, and it would definitely sell more of their products, plus serve as an inroad into 30K. Just give them time, IA13 took two years after the CSM book came out to give them all the FW tanks etc

    16. I hope we see Skitarii for 30k and the FW Mechanicum for 40k soon. Including letting me keep my Volkite on my Styrix.

    1. glad I'm not the only one thinking that. Absolutely hideous.

    2. Very disappointed. Thought it would just be the plasma blastgun from the super-heavy tank, but this is so much worse. Kind of hope that's a fake picture... :/

  5. The only thing I want is my massive wraith army to still be good, as it's very powerful at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Really? Usually my wraith guarde/sword/axe get obliterated before enter in combat... My wraith knight spend a lot of time running away from instant death/psionic weapon... can't say they work really well...
      How is your list?

    2. If this is a replacement (in part) to the Iyanden supplement then it can only get better.

  6. if it's only a single build kit it would be a shame that plasma oblit core looks similar in size to the Void Shield Generator Core, Having a duel kit would have been a great way to go. At least it should be an easy conversion.

    1. it literally looks like they just scaled up a regular plasma gun and slapped it on a building

    2. AutoCad 1 on 1 I think they just did, just pulled the corner on the 3D model and made it bigger čÖłčÖłčÖł

    3. Special Rule:
Reluctant Engagement: when charging the building reduce the charge distance by 3 inches as players are reluctant to bring their lovely models near this ugly thing.

      Delete
    4. I like it. I can see potential for the kit beyond being a weapon tower. The building itself has a lot of nice detail. Take the Plasma Cannon off and you've got a Sisters of Battle shrine. This will look much better on the table, I guarantee it. Pictures of pages have a way of distorting proportions.

  11. PLasma obliterator has potential but I don't know if I can be bothered with more conversion work right now. But idea wise it needs to lose the big gothic engravings and look a bit more like a tank turret emplacement... to suit my tastes at least.

    1. Well, I love gothic architecture so this suits me just fine. It will look really good with the Cities of Death buildings.
