  1. Warhammer: Archaon?
Wasn't there something about the novel? Lord of the End Times or something?

    2. @frozenreflection: nope, he's talking about the new novel "The Lord of the End Times", not Lord of Chaos.

  2. Very good that the pics we've sort of seen of the models are blightking size (supposedly), but that pic makes them seem average chaos warrior size. Then again, artwork and models aren't always consistent (looking at you Dreadknight).

    1. i assumed they were only on larger bases, as in the models ARE chaos warrior sized, but on larger "snazzy" bases. i'd doubt these are much bigger if at all than chaos warriors. *not very odd*

    2. Funny that so close to the new Edition the kit doesnt include round bases?

    3. Maybe because new edition don't have round base ? ... Rumors are rumors, maybe the round base was only for skaven/ some odd rules warmachines.

    5. On round bases:
Not that I necessarily think one way or the other about what they're going to do. This makes no decision known.
As they could quite easily just have packets full of rounds by the till and when the new edition hits if it's round they'd just give you the bases then.
Once the new packages come in they'd then start including them in those.
      Just a possible scenario..

  3. Something interesting of minor note, looking at the US GW website the Space Wolves Supplement Champions of Fenris has been completely removed in Hard cover/paper format.. not just "no longer available" or temp out of stock.. its just not there under any tab or search.. i wonder if other supplements or hard covers altogether will start disappearing... no words from my source one way or the other as i haven't asked yet but believe i shall get to the bottom of this

    1. Could just as easily be that they are waiting for a reprint batch. GW has taken things down, only to throw them back up when stocks get back to a level that makes them comfortable.

    2. The hardcovers are being replaced with soft covers; once they've sold out.

  5. Off topic here but has anyone else seen the changes going on in Warhammer World on the UK?

Most of the building is undergoing construction work and there is a grand re-opening event on the 16th and 17th of May with tickets being mostly sold out!

The new building layout will have a new entrance (it's all glass fronted with A metal staircase) 5 display halls! Including a two storie tall display and over 20,000 miniatures, 3 stores! Including the first and only Forgeworld and Black Library stores that stock the entire range of products, the gaming hall (obviously) and not only that but there will be NEW Warhammer World exclusive models from Forgeworld and GW that will go on sale as well as a WHW exclusive Black Library novel and a new menu for Bugmans Bar. Oh and if that wasn't enough the Design studios will be there with all the event exclusives, basically making it a glorified Open Day!!!!

I managed to get one of the last 30 Sunday tickets! CANT WAIT!!!!
