Hello again everybody!
Today we've got the contents of the next two all-in-one army boxes for Warmachine and Hordes, due out this April. For anyone just getting started, check out the postings about the first four boxes here and here.
Cygnar: The boys in blue are finally coming to play. This Siege army packs a ranged wallop, though it seems Privateer still can't accept that regular stormguard are not competitive. At least you'll have the base unit you need to get the Silverline upgrade from their site.
Warcaster Major Markus ‘Siege’ Brisbane
Defender Heavy Warjack
Avenger Heavy Warjack
Squire Solo
Arcane Tempest Gun Mage Unit
Arcane Tempest Gun Mage Officer Unit Attachment
Stormguard Unit
Journeyman Warcaster Solo
Trolls: The other "good guy" faction also gets their day in April. The list definitely works for Grissel, though the decision to offer a variety of units rather than go all in with two units of warders and a bomber over the oft-maligned blitzer is a little disappointing. Still, the box definitely gives you a strong bunch of models that can be easily expanded into the classic Meat Mountain list used by most at tourneys.
Warlock Grissel Bloodsong, Fell Caller
Dire Troll Blitzer Heavy Warbeast
Dire Troll Mauler Heavy Warbeast
Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribe Unit
Trollkin Champion Unit
Trollkin Warder Unit
May's boxes should get leaked in a couple of weeks, and we're pretty sure to see Cryx and Circle on the block to finish out the core factions before they dip into Mercs, Minions, Retribution, and Convergence. Since they've been mostly sticking to small based casters with old sculpts, I've got my money on Goreshade and Kaya for the Cryx/Circle boxes, though Morvahna the Dawnshadow would certainly fit the bill as Circle's most competitive caster.
Cheers again, see you next time!
