Mordheim City of the Damned and Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf

On the video game front for Warhammer, two games are making the news. The first is a free to play game just released called Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf, and its available now for download. The second is Mordheim: City of the Damned, which is talking about early access and showing off new screenshots.

Chaos Space Marines Codex and Black Legion Revision

A bit out of left field, but rumors of Chaos Marines seem to come up every once in a while. I would say that as these rumors stand, this would be very disappointing, and the rumors are vague, showing little changes, and things being removed like Chaos Marks, but then again, this would follow the trend.

Blood Angel Campaign Box Set Contents

The Campaign featuring Blood Angels is being rumored to start as the week after Tyranids, which looks very much at this moment to be next week. Whoa that was fast, and how time flys. October is just about wrapped up and we are into November already. Lets take a look at the latest.

Dream Pod 9’s War for Terra Nova Kickstarter

Dream Pod 9 has launched its first Kickstarter to help fund the molds to make plastic miniatures for the Heavy Gear Blitz tabletop wargame. The Kickstarter went live on October 23^rd and is doing well with a number of stretch goals already unlocked. Eternal Crusade Sit Down

I had the chance to sit down with Miguel Caron and talk shop for a bit yesterday, and there has been a lot of developments for the game Eternal Crusade. Exciting information including a change to the first early access module from a basic tutorial "Boot Camp" to learn the basics of movement and shooting, to a full 10vs10 shoot out mini-game.

Horus Heresy Conquest Teaser

Blood Angel/ Tyranid Starter and No Tyranid Codex Coming

Although a lot of this is just repeating what has already been said, it puts to rest the thoughts of a Tyranid codex update that some people are hoping for right now. Essentially, Lords of War Gaming is saying that no Tyranid codex is coming, model release only, and that Blood Angels are still coming.

Solar Auxilia Veletaris Storm Section

I am sure many Astra Militarum players have been watching the Solar Auxilia releases from Forgeworld with interest, I know I have. Of course they are for the Horus Heresy, but they are such cool models, that I am temped to start collecting them over my Cadians for standard 40k games.

Yesterday morning Forgeworld revealed even more upcoming models that will be coming. Just check out the pic above, and what was revealed on the last Bulletin.

Additional Leaked Images, Including the Maleceptor

New images are showing everywhere, and even since the last time I checked a couple hours ago. These images appear to be from White Dwarf, and some of them in French. Take a look at both new models for the Tyranids this week.

Endtimes: Softcover Anthology Coming with Pricing

There must be an email to GW stores by now or notice of sorts, as a reader had a little information regarding softcover book pricing for the Endtimes, especially since he was trying hard to get a hardcover copy of the Glottkin book. Take a look at what he said.

The Endtimes: Books I and II and their Fate.

Lets be honest here, and straight, Warhammer Fantasy really needed some life injected into it. It was explained to me that there just are not enough new people starting up new armies of Fantasy, simply because the community that played a lot of it, already had their models and bought very little. Warhammer Fantasy is a good game, and its last edition played well, but without a influx of new players and new armies being bought, the games was not doing well in the eyes of Corporate.

Next Week Pre-Orders: Tyranid Toxicrene and Maleceptor

The release details are here, and there will be a single box set release for Tyranids that can build either the Maleceptor or the Toxicrene. Get out your respirators, your going to need them........

A New Tyranids Box Set Next Week!

In the last White Dwarf we all saw the hint that said "Respirators On!". While that can mean anything, today we are getting word that next week will see a new Tyranid Box release up for pre-orders. I have no idea if there are any connections, or if something else is coming as well, but a new Tyranid box release is coming from a good source here on Faeit 212.

An Update Coming for Forgeworld Characters?

It seems that some of the Forgeworld characters may be receiving an update very soon, as some of the character links have been removed.

This Week: The Endtimes: Glottkin, and New FAQ's

This week was dominated by Warhammer Fantasy's Endtimes book II, Glottkin. It had quite a bit of hype, and already sold out before I even woke up Saturday morning. That is one hell of a release. Definitely the Endtimes have given Warhammer Fantasy a huge breath of life.

A Unified "Humans" and Possible Starter Set- Plus Endtimes: Glottkin Sold Out Already!

Im sure that his has been an amazing release for Games Workshop, as already the second book Endtimes: Glottkin is already sold out in English. Its not even 7am Saturday morning as I write this, so that is a little crazy.

There are also some new hints to a unified Empire and possible starter set. Of course I will let you decide what it all means, as Harry steps up and gives us some great insight to what is coming very soon.

Dracosan Armoured Transport and Tank Crews

What a beautiful tank Forgeworld is releasing today for the Solar Auxila. I am seriously considering picking the Solar Auxilia models for both use in the Horus Heresy, and standard 40k. Both the Tank Crew and Dracosan Transport are up for pre-orders to be released on October 30th.

Blood Angel Rumors

There are some Blood Angel rumors floating around now, and while some of them I am giving very little faith in (the one from dakka), they are interesting. So according to these, we will see a campaign book for Storm Claw here in the coming weeks, with either Necrons or Tyranids involved in it, but no Blood Angel codex until December.

The Secret Messages are Done, but Glottkin is Here

The covers of both Warhammer Visions and White Dwarf this week feature Glottkin. While we have seen a lot of the new information from Thorin (we all thank you for the preview information), summoning daemons, combined armies into the Legions of Chaos, and Heroes Returning are all real with this coming release.
