Games Workshop Brings Australian Prices More In Line

It seems that the pricing for Games Workshop's latest release Tau, may be bringing prices in Australia more in line with the rest of the world when it comes to buying their models. If so,this would really mean a lot to our fellow hobbyists over in that part of the world.

Below is a comparison of AUS pricing for the upcoming Tau release and that in the US.

i have been looking at the pricing on the latest release from GW being the Tau the prices on the entire new range of minis from this set.

here are the prices from US/AUS GW sites
Codex : Tau Empire                                  49.5 US      83 AUS
Riptide Battlesuit                                       85  US      90 AUS
XV8 Crisis Battlesuit Team                         65  US      80 AUS
Sun Shark Bomber                                    65  US      76 AUS
XV88 Broadside Battlesuit                          50  US      74 AUS
Hammerhead Gunship                               60  US      85 AUS
Pathfinder Team                                        35  US      48 AUS
Cadre Fireblade                                        20  US      22 AUS
Commander Farsight                                50  US      54 AUS
XV8 Battlesuit Commander                       41  US      45 AUS

Longstrike                                              16   US      26 AUS
Farsight Enclave Shoulder Pads               13.25 US   14 AUS

these prices are very much closer than any prior releases to date from recent years im not sure if it is the way things are going to go but it is currently cheaper to go to a GW store than Ebay for this range and shipping will make all these costs you more. the only thing not to meet parity is the Codex
