This is a lot of fun for those of you that really do not know how far we have come in the last 20 years for Warhammer 40k, or the entire tabletop gaming experience. I am not sure if these are the first time Tyranids were ever mentioned for 40k, but I think it is the first playable version of them ever, and they are presented in a White Dwarf. Take a look at some of these images.
A big thanks to Deejay for sending these in, they are really interesting. He had mentioned the magazine was 21 years old, so the publication date is around 1992, a full 6 years before I had even heard about the 40k.
