Could Chaos Daemons/ Marines Be Combined Into One Codex?

Back in 3rd edition it was all one codex. There was no Chaos Daemon army and a seperate Chaos Space Marine army. They were one codex. 4th edition changed all that with the chaos marine codex being split up to what we currently have now.

This mornings rumor seems a little far fetched, but nonetheless, it with rumors the way they are today, anything seems possible.

Please take this rumor with a good amount of salt. I find the idea interesting, but cannot see them doing this. However, only time will tell.

Take this with the usual pinch of salt as it came from shop staff. However, talking in a quiet moment yesterday one of the local staff said he had been to HQ and combined with recent sales material I might find the following interesting:

1. Looking like chaos/dark angels for the new sixth edition box

2. The recently leaked ruleset is "fan fiction" according to the line at hq

3. It seems that store space for the codex daemons and daemon batalion is going to be removed within the next few months (although no indication as to which month). Although he said there will still be space for the other boxes of miniatures alongside the chaos marine models.

This would seemingly corroborate that the strongly rumoured chaos codex after 6th edition will include daemons and that they may be being removed as a stand alone army (assuming of course that there aren't separate lists and some sort of alliance system within the forthcoming chaos codex).
