What's On Your Table: Renegade Guard
Here are some pictures of a few projects I finished last year. I have a large force of renegade guard with varying degrees of chaos corruption (meaning most of them look very similar to regular guard!). I decided they needed some daemonic inspiration, which led me to adding the two daemon princes.

We are in a massive heat wave and unfortunately a bad time for a scheduled trip. So just a heads up that I am in the backcountry doing some backpacking with my daughter. I will be back soon. Good chance to see some bear if it wasn't so dang hot right now.

I just thought I would share my most recent Predator tank. I have yet to see one of this model used anywhere and it is a shame as it is nice stand in for a predator. It's a FMRIR tank from shieldwolf miniatures and after I finished it to where I was happy, I placed it next to the other two tanks I already have.

Oooh, previews are incoming for 3D Printing! The Artisan Guild doesn't disappoint. This is probably a bigger set for RPG games but there are always uses for Tabletop Wargaming due to the modularity Artisan Guild puts into their miniatures.

The new edition release for the Age of Sigmar is right around the corner now and alongside it will be a new app. See what you need to get it and what to expect right here.

Technology changes apace – as do the rules of battle in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. While the old app has assisted generals across the Mortal Realms, this is the perfect time to overhaul the platform so that it’s better equipped to bolster your campaigns and deliver cool new features.
First and foremost, the old app is not being updated for the new edition. Soon, it will no longer be possible to subscribe to it either.
Even though there won’t be any more updates, you can keep the old app on your device if you enjoy having a nostalgic look back at the older battletomes in your library.
The new and improved app will be available to download in beta version shortly after the new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar is launched on the 3rd of July 2021. The beta will be free to use and includes the all-important army building tool. Eventually, the app will join the wider Warhammer+ offer, and access to paid features (including the army building tool) will be included as part of that subscription.The only thing you need to get going with the new app is a My Warhammer account

Although i made it a little while back now, it's actually one of the most recent models I've made since I've been suffering with a lack of inspiration the last few months, but if finally got a blog post up about it and I'm hoping that I can get my hobby mojo back soon to paint up the Nurgle Knight I made last year.
Warhammer + Information Hits, or does it Miss?
Games Workshop hitting the streaming service is a big one, most likely one fraught with peril as it jumps outwards from a hobby to our entertainment dollars possibly competing with other streaming services like Netflix, Disney +, and so much more.
What is it, will you get it? and more importantly, will you keep it or just pick it up for a month or two down the road.
A streaming service is a hard one, even with Netflix I can run out of anything I want to see rather quickly. I will find it interesting if this works (quite possibly even be amazed) as my first thoughts are to pick it up but with no intentions of keeping it very long, or wait for a bit so there are more shows and keep it only possibly sporadically down the road.

Big Reveal on Wednesday! Warhammer + and More?
A big reveal coming? GW is saying that it will be one of the biggest announcement of the year. I suppose the biggest part of this is the "Animation is just the beginning" part. It will be interesting to see what the draw is, after all going to a streaming service is a big jump from the hobby and into entertainment. The competition for those dollars is a whole lot bigger than Games Workshop.
