Anyway, that's what's on my table. The custodes codex was the perfect opportunity for me to try gold nmm for the first time. I was dead afraid and while the outcome is nowhere near as good as the results all the master painters produce, im still super happy. Sorry for the hands on the pics and the unfinished state the models are in. But maybe I can encourage others to try an advanced technique they've always avoided.

New today from Games Workshop is Morathi along with the Battletome Daughters of Khaine. Dice and Warscroll cards are also available for the Daughters of Khaine, but interestingly enough.... the White Dwarf is also up and comes with rules for Genestealer Cults in Necromunda.

Thats right...... Sea Elves are coming and we have some pics sent in from a reader here on Faeit 212 that originated on Facebook.

Better yet..... we have some other inside information that can now also be shared from anonymous source here on Faeit 212. Apparently they are coming in April! Add these two things together... and April should have some new models for us.

Problems with Necromunda Surfacing

This was posted up over on Bolter and Chainsword today about game designer issues and possible problems with the game and its near future. Insane deadlines, loss of a lead designer, and failure of editing are the subjects below.

Thought I would post up on it as part of a discussion. Im rather excited about Necromunda, but concerns that the game needed more work before being released are quite possible.

Midlands Maelstrom 2 Dropfleet Tournament: UK

A good sized Dropfleet Commander tournament, the Midlands Maelstrom 2 is set for April 28th, with the standard 1250pt event. This is their second year running the event, and again it will be held at Worcester Wargames, located in a very central location in the UK (making easier to get to if you are in the UK).

This Week's Releases With Prices

We have full confirmations on the prices now for this week's pre-orders. They of course include the new Daughters of Khaine Battletome, Morathi, Cards, and Dice.

Necromunda Preview: Guilds- Corpse, Power Grid, Water

Three new guilds are being previewed for Necromunda today by Forgeworld. These will be coming soon, as we have already seen bits and pieces of this from the last Forgeworld Event. Great Expansions are coming.

2 New Stand-Alone Games Official Announcement

Space Marine Adventures and Blitz Bowl are two games being shown off at the New York Toy Fair. They are self contained sets of games, Blitz Bowl (smaller version of Blood Bowl), and Space Marine Adventures (Necron Labyrinth).

Labyrinth of the Necrons: 5 Space Marine Chapters Revealed

Another pic is out showing that we are looking at 5 different chapters of Space Marines, one marine from each for this stand alone game. The game looks rather a short and quick type of thing, so we will have to see exactly what the game is all about before it is on my personal (to buy) list. This could very well just be an introduction type game meant for toy stores at this point.

Daughters of Khaine and Morathi Revealed! Coming to Pre-orders Next Weekend

Morathi is a two model kit, one as the Aelven Queen, the other as her true form. Definitely an interesting model, and we cant wait to learn more about her. The Daughters of Khaine Battletome is also coming..... Its all looking good.

Following the release of the Thousand Sons Codex, I thought you might like to see these.  The daemon prince is a combination of bits from the daemon prince kit, high elf griffon and the gryph creature that the lord Aquilor is riding on.  I think it’s a bit different and has a Tzeentch feel to it.  The Sorcerer is the Forgeworld Traitor librarian with the axe replaced by a force stave and combi Bolter built in to the lightning claw.
