Tactical Objective Cards Will Be Back in July

The Tactical Objective cards are going to run out here soon, and will not be getting an update or a restock until July. That is according to the latest information that has come across my desk, so if you were planning on getting some, you might want to consider when you are going to get them.

Aegis Orbital Defense Laser: Video Review- A First Look

Today the second scenario pack, the Aegis Orbital Defense Laser hit the shelves for Dropzone Commander. It is a scenario pack, which means there are scenarios/ missions that can be used for this model. The missions will be refined and will be a part of the new expansion book out later this year, Reconquest.

Faeit's Tarot: Ork Psychic Powers, and the Inquisition/ Adeptus Sororitas

This week was mostly about the new FAQ's and we have had two separate updates since the FAQ's first appeared this week. These fast and more current FAQ updates are something we have wanted as a community, and its great to see that GW is on it. Lets take a look at what was going on this week.

More Model Leaks for Orks

Quite a few new models can be seen in one single pic that is from the new "How to Paint Citadel Miniatures Orks: Morkanaut. On the photo we get a good look some new big guns, a look at the new meganob, and what looks like a new model for a Weirdboy in robes.

What's On Your Table: Chaos Renegades, Predator and More.

Tonight for another installment of 'What's On Your Table', a lot of work is always going on here on this cutting mat. At the moment its Chaos Renegades, a Chaos Predator, a Converted Aegis Defense Line, and more.

Games Workshop Easter Egg: New Logo...........

Gorkanaut/ Morkanaut Now Up For Pre-Orders

Its official now, the Gorkanaut/Morkanaut dual kit is now up for pre-orders. Its the first step on the way to a full Ork release that is just a week away. June will be exciting to jump into as we get our chance to see our first 7th edition full codex release.

Pre-Orders: New Collectors Edition Ares 30mm: Unboxing and a First Look

The first of the collectors edition models is now up for pre-order, and we have a special preview video of it to check out. The model is now up for pre-order and will be available June 11th.

The Psychic Phase: Triumph or Bust

The Psychic phase has been described as its own mini-game, and its one that I would have to agree with. The issue with that is its one that some armies just will not be participating in. While its still early, the psychic phase addition to 7th edition is right now my least favorite and sometimes annoying area of the game. Of course if you are decked out to participate, its great fun.

Games Workshop's Hitting the FAQ's Again: Blood Angels Update

This morning I woke up to yet another update to the FAQ's, this time for Blood Angels. This is definitely a nice and welcome set of FAQ's with Games Workshop working to update them and even correct mistakes that had been found.

Request: Scourge Annihilator List 1500pts

I have had lots of games with my Scourge over the last year, and with the coverage at Valhalla and batreps against Shawn Gately and David Lewis, I have had a couple requests lately for a list that includes the Scourge Annihilator. After all its a very expensive point costed model that is often hard to work into lists, especially after I work my Scourge commander into it.

Orks and How they Generate Warp Charge

Quite some ago....... back at the end of August, we were discussing that Orks were going to generate Warp Charges different than other armies. According to the latest information, this is happening, and large units of Orks do indeed generate warp charge.

What's On Your Table: Adeptus Mechanicus Conversions

A little early tonight simply because I have rumors lined up for Orks, I thought we would take a look at some Mechanicus conversions done by Manus. Of course once you check these out, you will want to check out his blog for more of his Mechanicus Projects.

Full Line Up of Leaked Images All In One Place

Everyone knows by now about the new two new ork models going live for pre-order this weekend. There is a nice collection of leaked images over on dakka dakka. Its rather complete, and while it seems the new Ork warmachines are getting mixed reviews to start, (models and rules), you can at least get a good look at them.

The New Jink in 7th Edition.

For years the one thing that has always bothered me about fast moving skimmers, is that you were so heavily penalized for going second, that shooting armies just ripped you apart. I am now a huge fan of the new Jink rules, as now I simply declare i want to jink and my raiders get a 4+, and I can do so in round 1 without having to move first! This was always my biggest frustrations with being such a dedicated Dark Eldar player for so long.

FAQ Considerations

Yesterday there was an FAQ released, and it was great to see one so soon. I know there are  lot of complaints, but I am just glad that we had one hit so quick. Solid rumors from sources, are saying that we will see much faster updates on the FAQ's, and if this is the case, problems we are seeing will be fixed.

Tablewar Gaming Mats: A Review + Video

Today I received two Tablewar Gaming Mats from Frontline Gaming. I specifically ordered the Alpine 6x4 and the Grassy Plains 6x4, because I knew they would fit with the terrain I have, and really change up the look of the tables I generally set up here for gaming nights.

More Leaked Information on the Gorkanaut and Morkanaut

There is some information now coming from supposed leaks in the White Dwarf. Mostly some point cost of the two new Ork warmachines. Of course these are said to be translated from German.

More Leaked Ork Pics are Flowing

First thing up this morning are some new Ork pics from this coming weekend's White Dwarf. There are some good ones here, and the information gives us some details on the new Gorkanaut / Morkanaut models that are coming. Of course the weapon stats are shown as well as now you can see where the two differ from each other.

7th Edition FAQ's Are Live!!

GW is on it, and already now we have a full line up of FAQ's and Erratas to check out. Every codex and supplement for the game is listed, for both Warhammer Fantasy and 40k.

Warhammer World's Official Tournament Rules for 7th Edition

First up on the tournament scene, Warhammer World stands up and declares its rules for the Throne of Skulls, Battle Brothers, and Council of War events. Take a look, and for the most part I think this is a solid way to go.

Scourge Tactics: After A Lot More Games

I have been playing my Scourge now for quite some time in Dropzone Commander games, and many of you have even seen the battle reports with Shawn or even against David that have been up. I have talked about specific units but this morning I wanted to talk about a variety of things that should be considered when playing the Scourge in Dropzone.

What's On Your Table: Deamon Prince

Tonight for What's On Your Table we are looking at a Daemon Prince and Blood Thirster. Just perfect for how I feel after being out in the sun all day (a little cooked). No name was really attached to these, but I am assuming Ed works.

Ork Leaks, Are You Ready to Waaagh

Im back now from being offline for about 2 days (In a beach shack), and there is a lot to talk about. The first of course is that Pre-Orders are going to be going up for Orks May 31st. Not sure?....... GW has released a video with a relatively big hint.

Of course I have a full on collection of sites that have leaked images from this coming week's White Dwarf.

My UCM Has Arrived. Video- A Close Look

I received these a week ago now, and its time to show them off. Already they have seen a demo game, and hopefully will be seeing more larger games here soon.

Faeit 212 BlogExchange: Blogs From Around the World

Its Monday and its time for another installation of Blogs From Around the World, as we add new sites to the exchange. For those that don't know, I have been gone for the weekend, and should by now be on my way back home from the Memorial Day weekend.

What's On Your Table: Biel-Tan‏

Its a holiday weekend here in the US, and of course I have been out enjoying it. Time though to look at some inspiration and see "Whats On Your Table". This evening we are looking at Biel-Tan‏ from Unforgiven Studios.

Dark Age Has Done IT!!!!

This is one of those things that I have known was being worked on for a long time, every since I first started looking into the game. Dark Age has re-worked its starter sets! This is awesome news, as now the starter sets are more balanced to each other, having 300pts and in my opinion a much greater selection of models inside.

Presence of Faeit: 7th Edition

The more I delve into the new 40k rulebook, the more I am liking its changes. I have seen many other people hesitant, now ready to make the jump as the new rules are starting to get filtered through. Even though the game will have a lot of the feel of 6th edition, and those comfortable with it will still feel that, enough has changed and been rebalanced to feel like a very solid edition.

Dropzone Web Only Deals

I had to really search for this, once I had accidentally found it and closed my browser. It took awhile, and I am assuming these will be on the next Hawk Wargames Newsletter. As it turns out, Dave and Simon have put together special army deals for each army. They are rather cool, because yes, they include a lot of the new models.

This Week's Release: The Details

This week we have an exciting large new warmachine for Orks coming, the dual kit Gorkanaught/Morkanaut. So what else is on the release list for this week? More Orks? Well, you might be a little disappointed.

What's On Your Table: Dusk Raiders in Mk II Armor

The Holiday Weekend is here, and many of you are out and about or reading through the new 7th edition rulebook. Either way, take a break to check out Mikki's Dusk Raiders in MKII armor.

Next Week Release: The Gorkanaught/Morkanaut: A Colossal New War Machine

Orks are getting ramped up, and next we are apparently going in full drive with the new Orks. It will start off with a new massive new stompa model called a Gorkanaut/Morkanaut that is about the size of an Imperial Knights. Sounds like a great kick off for Orks.

Faeit's Tarot: GW's Release Schedule and Bretonnians

This week really was all about Warhammer 40k and the launch of the new edition. Every nwe bit of information was very much looked at in detail before the release hit. With that, there was not a whole lot else going on this week. Lets take a look.

A First Look at 7th Edition

A lot has already been said over the last week on 7th edition, but now with the rulebook in hand, I wanted to talk about it. With all the fanfare both positive and negative, I think there is a lot of good in this book.I am going to talk mostly rules here, because while the other parts of the book are nice, they really are not what most people are concerned with.

Whats On Your Table: Custom Chaos Rhinos

7th Edition is here, and I am reading through and doing demo Dropzone tonight. So here is the latest (and a little early tonight) look at Whats On Your Table by LSK

Faeit 212 BlogExchange: Blogs From Around the World

7th Edition is now out and about, and while we are all spending time reading through the new rules (mostly to discover not as much has changed as first thought), its time for another article for the Faeit 212 BlogExchange. So sit back and take a reading break from the rulebook.

More Rules for Battlefield Terrain in 7th Edition

One thing I really like in this edition is that the terrain pieces are given rules for them. They are not a point cost to a player, but they are just pieces of terrain that have more specific rules, and can lead to some more interesting missions. Here are some of the new rules for more terrain pieces.

Tactical Objective Cards Pics

Its now hours before the official release of the new rulebook for Warhammer 40k, and information literally is just flowing now from everywhere. One caught my eye in particular, and that is the Tactical Objective cards for the new mission sets in the rulebook.

What's On Your Table: Chaos Reaver Titan

Its a Chaos Reaver Titan for What's On Your Table tonight, done by Dean Sinnbeck. Very cool start to this, and cannot wait to see it painted up.

Bretonnia Rumors

Bretonnians have been in the rumors of late, and even with all the buzz of the new edition of 40k going on right now, I wanted to take a look at what is being rumored. A new image has appeared over the internet, and while I honestly know very little about it, I am posting a quick link to it where it was posted up, over on 40k Warzone. So lets take a look what is rumored for the Knights of Bretonnia.

Dropzone Commander with its Creator Part 2 (2014)

The second part of my Dropzone Interview with David Lewis. To be honest, there is nothing like going through the new game units with its creator to really see the thought and detail put into each unit.

Leaked Images and a Few More 7th Edition Tidbits

Its time to paint up my Aquila Strongpoint Macro Cannon. This will be a lot of fun to get ready for games with it being a part of the standard Core Detachments for Battle Forged Armies.
