I'm converting my 40k feral ork / wildboyz / snakebite army. So far it's really a lot of fun. Ofcourse i'm very happy with the New 40k releases.. i just love squigs..

On to the next project. This Tau force required alot of care as the “old” Forge World suits had significant damage done to them from poor storage. They came to me in a shoe box!

The next issue of White Dwarf is almost upon us but what will be in it? The issue will dig into the new edition of Age of Sigmar, touch on a Warzone for Warhammer 40k, and includes a guide for Elathain’s Soulraid and Kainan's Reapers.
Kill Team's new edition is coming in August and with it some of the most basic questions on how your gang will survive and move from one game to another always remains. I have been working on a Dark Angels crusade army for 9th Edition, starting with this Master based on the Lazarus kit. I have modelled him wearing the Mantle of the Seneschal and carrying a Heavenfall blade. I had a go at adding some energy effects to the blade, which is something I have never been successful with before. Thank goodness for online tutorials!
Archvillain Games is on it and this time its into the old world with lizard men in "Agama Rising". A more popular army type and some amazing miniatures.
Great to see the Death Korps of Krieg in upcoming artwork! This is said to be right out of the upcoming Ork codex.

This past week+ has given me a fair bit of time to really clear away my work bench.
With the new edition of Kill Team right around the corner many are probably a little concerned about updating their factions to the new rules. One book will get everyone covered and be launched at the same time as the new boxset Kill Team: Octarius.
Yea I know you have probably already looked at this guy, but I was away and did not see the announcement til today, and it is one of the coolest miniatures for 40k that I am looking forward to. hmmm, Thousand Sons army in the making? Who knows, Ive created entire armies off of my love of a single miniature before. I suppose it depends on the mark up.
With a new codex coming this might be right up my ally, if my Grey Knights will let them be in the same room that is!
Updated miniatures along with a new heroine, Anakriah the Dissectrix are really updating the Raging Heroes miniature line. I have many of the previous Skinners and love the minis. Getting a new update with new heroine options is always a good thing.
The NOCF Summer Raffles are very much under way and the largest of all the collections that are up for grabs is the Crimson Hunter Khorne Army for Warhammer 40,000. Its a massive army that would be a lot of fun on the tabletop and is going to someone in just over a month's time. You can win this army by jumping into the 2021 NOCF Summer Raffle charity event.
There is a lot coming for the new Kill Team which takes us into some familiar and possibly some new directions.

I have been tinkering on a Man of Iron kitbash for Inq28. I'm picturing him a a foil for my time-travelling Ordo Chronos Inquisitor (whose retinue is still on the planning stage). Also made an extra base for display purposes.

as a long time lurker, first time poster I want to show you my rogue trader and his retinue. Andrasz von Taarthiv has a formidable crew of hunters, pirates and other outcasts. I build them out of my bitzbox, some spare models from blackstone fortress: escalation and bloodbowl nobles. An Ogryn bodyguard and more crewmen are still waiting to be build. I'm looking forward to get some paint on them.

On to doing some stabby nids, 12 brand new with a yellow slash on the Carapace, the other half getting the red colour updated to match and a bone slash down their Carapace.

I am again out of the office for a few days. This is my last planned trip away from my keyboard for the year, but the Oregon backcountry is calling. So Im off into the mountains, laying low to avoid breathing any smoke from nearby fires, and moving quick to avoid their path. I will see everyone on Thursday when I return.

"I'm about fifth week into one of the largest projects of the last few years. Horus Heresy Mechanicum army - Forge World Zhao Arkhad. The commission consists of over 190 miniatures, bulk of which is infantry. I have a blast working on this collection and love the color scheme choice. Should be all done and ready to battle in up to three weeks.
There is quite a bit on the Ork Codex leak front. Exactly what will be here now that the Beast Snagga boxset is up for preorders and the codex is incoming? Lets take a look at some of them and then you can take a look yourself.
