What's On Your Table: Knights of the Raven

Like we have done before we will be doing a submission giveaway for What's On Your Table. One lucky submission chosen at random will get a $50 credit/giftcard to a Gaming Company of your choice. (as long as they do gift cards). So lets get your submissions in on what you have on your table. This lasts through the end of the year. The winner will be random from every submission sent in.

Send in up to 8 pics or a short video to natfka@live.com

  Hiya Natfka
I have been a long time follower of what’s on your table and your site. Back at the beginning of 2019 I set up a Instagram account to show off my models, not to impress but to share my aspect of the hobby I love like millions of people do all over the internet, to inspire conversion ideas as well as be inspired myself. I’ve been collecting 40k since 5th edition when my cousins got me into it and at first it started with one space marine command squad and is now 6 army’s.

My space marines I’m showing you here are my versions of the knights of the raven. I saw the scheme in the 5th edition space marine codex and thought it was a simple scheme for a newbie. I’m not a massive fan of the raven guard chapter tactic these days and I love close combat so I use custom chapter tactics for them now.

These are a few of the pictures from my Instagram, I was very proud when pop goes the monkey shared my invictor suit on their gram as the cockpit was designed by them.

To be honest I was always rather worried that my models and how I paint would be torn apart by the internet but from my experience a lot of people on the internet have the same worries and fears as me and as long as we encourage each other then we get a more diverse take on our hobby and get more juicy conversion ideas to “borrow” 😉 and of course no one started perfect.

I apologise about the poor quality of the pictures.

All the best
Ian
