GW's Top 5 Scary Things in the 40k Universe

While you might just say that the setting itself should be on the top 5 list, the Warhammer Community team has put together their own top 5 Scariest things in the 41st Millennium.

Madmen, Undead, and the Secrets you should not be looking into.

While we have looked at some fun things for Genesys Project focused on Halloween themes, I have been avoiding the biggest one of all. Found below is the one trait that goes beyond the the mortal world and breaks the chains or reality.

Here those possessed and transformed into demons, consumed by madness, overtaken by devilish plagues, and uncovered the secrets to cheating death itself can be found.

Less than 10 Hours to Go!

The Gardbuk Shrine has less than 10 hours to go in it's already successful Kickstarter. Its made a good run and I hope that Studiolevel keeps themed tables like this one going... as a full table of themed high quality terrain like this is fun it would be fun to have a couple ready to go at a moments notice.

Da Kult of Speed

With the Ork Codex coming out this coming weekend the Warhammer Community has taken the time to give some insight into building a Kult of Speed Ork army. Literally just too much fun, and don't forget the red paint.

This week we have Space Marine Heroes coming to Europe, not certain if its making it to the US, alongside New Scenery Boxsets, and Hobby Tools (painting/ assembly handles etc.)

This is a rumored release that a new Abbadon model will be shown soon, quite possibly alongside the Blackstone Fortress release. That would be some serious love shown for the Chaos Marines.

You heard it right... Not in the codex, but coming with the Chapter Approved rules soon. Apparently only for Open Play. Disappointing to say the least.

GW Christmas Preview: Battleforces, Terrain Boxsets, and The Black Fortress

Here it is, a first look at the previews coming this Christmas. A good look at the terrain boxes, only two of the upcoming batttleforces and of course... Blackstone Fortress.

On those paint bundles, they need to come out quickly or I will just get some local paint from the shops as I am running low, but Im excited to see them coming.

I've just booked the venue to run the first 'big event' for 40k in North Wales.

Venue - The Catrin Finch Centre, Glyndwr University, Wrexham, North Wales
Date - 2nd and 3rd of February, 2019
Event size - Up to 40 players, 5 games over 2 days
Points - 2000, 3 detachments max, Big FAQ 1 + 2 in effect.

The inaugural Warhammer 40,000 tournament held in Wrexham, North Wales.
5 Games, 2000 points, 40 players at a great venue, with all boards and terrain provided.
Running at the Catrin Finch conference centre in Wrexham, plenty of space with the options for food served on site.
This will hopefully become the first of many events to run in the future.

Thirty-eight light years from Holy Terra sits a little green moon, a moon recently occupied by an equally green group of Orks. Amongst them is a gifted Oddboy known as Mek Gyva, known waaagh-wide for his eccentric vehicles. For weeks he’ll tinker on unknown designs, based on images which worm their way into his mind from the small satellite dish he wired into his own head to try and hear Gork ‘n’ Mork clearer.
