October 20th Games Workshop will be celebrating Warhammer after opening up their 500th worldwide store. There will be two new models, one from AoS and the other for Warhammer 40,000. No details yet on what it will be, but it will be available at any of the Games Workshop stores that you can get to.

I am submitting for What's on Your Table my homebrew conversion for a prototype Leman Russ II: "King Russ". I was inspired by what I saw online and because that particular miniature was no longer available, I decided to convert my own using the Malcador Defender as the base model. I honestly think the Malcador are worthless, but I love their design so I felt this was a great was to field a model I like with my own touches and homebrew rules for casual play. The conversion pieces (punisher sponsons, tank turret and cannon, tracks, engine and autocannon sponsons) I got on eBay from a wonderful tank conversion company Blood and Skulls industry (machinator248) who I shamelessly promote because with this guy's kit this tank would not have come to life.

I field this tank against my brother's Tyranid hive fleet. He has really gone crazy and been reinforcing his hive fleet with more monsters and swarms then I can keep up with using my Death Korps. So we brainstormed a min-campaign which would allow me to use this tech-heresy tank for the good of the imperium. I have also included my homebrew rules which give some information on how this tank came to be, its usefulness, and its drawbacks.

Finished the first five members for my Van Saar gang, The Neon Sun. Named and painted them after Spartan-IIs from Halo. Got some custom name plates from Versatile Terrain, which is an awesome service! First minis I got painted in a little while, quite happy with them in the end.

Prices and Full List for Wake the Dead 40k Battlebox and New Kill Team Releases

The new boxset coming is full of Primaris Marines and Craftworld Eldar.

Necrons vs Iyanden would of been the the best Wake the Dead boxset. Also surprised that there is no marine vehicle in it, but instead an Eldar one. Kind of makes me think there could be some supporting units coming of some kind. (something repacked most likely on the Eldar side of things. or maybe a new Primaris character?)

Wake the Dead 40k Battlebox: Contents and a Look at 2 New Models

This set would be a good start to an Iyanden force with the new Eldar model being the Spiritseer. All we need now is the price for all of this. Of course there are plenty of people sitting around the local shops that would most likely want the Primaris side of this. I wonder how balanced the price point is for each force?

Just wanted to share some more pictures of my Grot Guard. I have recently crossed the 1000pt mark with the addition of some vehicles, Company Commander and Heavy Weapon team, and have started on some Scion models using some Arkanaut Company infantry bodies. After two games I have ditched the fortification unfortunately even though I love how the model turned out. I have also included a photo of the blue I am using (Lother) vs the blue of my Orks (Temple Guard) as shown on my Battlewagon. I will be returning to the Orks after finishing my Scions and look forward to sharing those with you soon!

Are Chaos Marines Growing? A Primaris Equilavent in the Future?

The Blackstone Fortress expansion of Warhammer Quest promises new Chaos Marine sculpts in the near future. Are the new sculpts for Chaos Marines growing larger over the years as we saw with normal Space Marines? It appears so.

I think the biggest question then becomes.... will chaos marines get an equivalent to the Primaris Marine? Its hard to say, but I could see how it would be justified (whether you agree with it or not is another story) with 10,000 year old marines growing changing genetically in the warp.

Killzone Combinations....
