I'll just finish off by saying that I'm really happy with the colour scheme I chose and these are by far the best Tyranids I've ever painted!

New Deathguard Characters and Tank! New 8th Edition Astra Militarum Codex!
There is a lot going on this week with the new codex release for the Astra Militarum, otherwise known as the Imperial Guard. Its a big codex supporting a large number of regiments and rules to go with them. Thats not all though, as the Deathguard has a solid set of releases with new characters and the long awaited for Plagueburst Crawler!

A Look at Total War Warhammer II
Ive played most of the Total War series and have always been a big fan of the games. Of course some are always better than others, but the Total War Warhammer games, both I and II have been by far my favorites.

Total War Warhammer II Official Press Release and Video!
It''s out now! Its time to jump in and play. The official release video was just released as well as the press release for the game. There will be a huge update shortly after this release that will combine the maps and gameplay from both Total War Warhammer I and II for free in a massive campaign map.

Today the Valhallans are up for a Codex Preview. Back when I first joined the game, these were the guardsmen I wanted in their trenchcoats on icy planets. I never did get them, perhaps something cool is coming that will allow us to jump in without going all metal.

I went a little crazy with the Nihilakh Oxide because I wanted them all to look super old and unused. The K. Robots, I didn't like the way the data-tethers looked, so I decided that since they didn't have any, they were only able to communicate through old school ASCII smiley faces.

I started playing 40k just before the second edition of Space Marine was released so it was always present in the White Dwarfs I read as a kid. Despite not having the time or money to play both, I always looked on with interest but when the Squats were updated for second edition, I fell in love. I'd always liked their 40k models but the epic army was on the next level. I remember reading the Battle of Golgotha (featuring Ghazghkull & Yarrick!) battle report over and over. Squats were the army I always wanted but never had.

Mordians! When was the last time you saw an army of these guys running around the local watering hole. Definitely an amazing thing to see these regiments supported, as I can think of at least a couple people that always wanted to make a Mordian army..... if only there was some plastic in it!

I started up with creating custom Shadow Spectres as a new project. This is how the color scheme came about. I wanted it to be ghostly and looked into GW paint tutorial of the Tree Revenants. Then I got sucked into the idea to go into colors of creatures/ plants from the sea.

The Soul Drinkers Return!
Well actually they don't, I was gonna do a whole Primaris army but found it very restrictive so now the Primaris models are gonna be the basis for my standard Soul Drinkers before they get e-purged *cry face*. These guys were done before deciding that so they can just be plasma guys in tac squads now! First time painting skin as well, normally it's just pallid wych flesh and a wash. Next up is the Chapter Ancient and my interpretation of Captain Luko. Comments and Critiscims always welcome. Cheers!
