Dawn of War III ► Elites Units *UPDATED*

Revisiting the Elite units in Dawn of War 3 as a new batch was added when the game went live, just like my previous video on the subject (link in description) I want to show them off and give you information surrounding them. UK Games Expo Seminar... "The New Warhammer 40k"

This was just sent in and reveals that there is a seminar coming up that ties into the release dates of the new edition of 40k. This mostly just helps us solidify the rumors of the release date until we get a more official release date from GW.

8th Edition Shooting Phase Revealed

Tomorrow is the last Day: Create a Faction Contest

Time to get your last minute entries in for the Create a Faction Contest. There has been several unique entries for the Genesys Project's new Domain, The Fey, that really show off just how diverse the new Fey factions can be.

The Create a Faction Contest ends on the last minute of the month May 30th at midnight pacific standard time.

8th Edition Galaxy Map and Trouble Spots

With warp storms everywhere, missing locations (some were said to be by mistake), the new 8th edition Galaxy map is looking sharp. Today the Warhammer Community takes a moment to take a brief look at it picking out Armageddon as one of those hot spots for the new edition.

I just wanted to share my recently finished Thousand Sons Khenetai Occult Blade Cabal led by a Legion Centurion. The Blade Cabal is out of Horus Heresy: Inferno and don't have models yet available so I decided to kitbash my own. It took a while to find all the pieces and in the end I think I have bits from at least five or six separate kits. Overall I'm very pleased with how they turned out. I hope you and your readers think so too.

The New Osiron Pattern Dreadnought

Wow, the new Osiron Pattern Contemptor is beautiful. I don't think Ive said that before in all these years about a model, and this could literally be the first time I want to start an army because of how cool and how much I like a single model.

Eternal Crusade - Elite Classes are here

New update has deployed on the battlefield, we have our first of four elite classes! Also we have a brand new world map to deploy from. This patch also saw balance updates and a lot of bug fixes.

8th Edition Starter Set Date/Contents/Price + Codex Layouts with Relics, Warlord Traits, and Formations

The new starter set is Death Guard vs Ultramarines and is coming on June 17th. We dont quite yet have a model count, but it looks like there is going to be quite a bit in the box. Also below we are being told that we will get to choose our Warlord Traits and Psychic Powers.... nice.

8th Edition Release Date and Beyond Information! + Spoilers....

This is an awesome set of details on the release schedule, what it will look like, and a lot more. A huge break for us to get a look ahead like this. Literally awesome, and its going to be a fun month of May of June!!!!

The no-longer-cursed episode appears! Though we are working on getting back our usual recording software we had to redo this episode due to a horrible glitch in the replacement software. Release Date for 8th Edition 40k.. Plus Starter Set is with Deathguard

The release date cannot be too far off with GW releasing new information on the edition on a daily basis, but we have not really had a solid date to expect it's release. Mini Wars has a release date up that right now should be taken as rumor.

New Show-Only Models This Year

Ive been playing a ton of Dropfleet Command lately, and of course Dropzone Commander is still a great game. Today we are looking new show only models being released by Hawk Wargames for both games. 

Show only models from Hawk Wargames are variant models to existing classes of ships and other models. These are very cool, and if you can't get to one, you are not missing out on game play. 

Dawn of War III has been Released!

I got to play the beta briefly, and now the game is live! Time to dig in, and get going with the full version of the game. Imperial Knights are a ton of fun.

Being Able to Fall Back out of Close Combat and more on Movement in 8th Edition 40k

Today the Warhammer Community is talking movement for the new edition of Warhammer 40,000. Having a movement stat will greatly add some variance to each army and is a great new feature for 40k,(at least for a lot of players that did not play early editions)

Customer Service Overloaded

Rumor Engine Teaser for this Week

With all the 8th Edition talk Ive been wrapped up in, I literally missed the Rumor Engine Teaser today.

New Teaser for 40k 8th Edition

8th Edition promises to move our storyline further ahead, and most of all, bring back the real bad guys of the galaxy, Chaos to the forefront of the game again. This is long over due, and the battle between Chaos and the Imperium is what 40k is truly about.

Id imagine in the coming days, we will get a lot more intel on this.......

Thunderlords: Create a Faction

Something unique for the Fey Create a Faction contest today is a Humanoid cross-over race using Forbidden Knowledge. Cross over factions are those that use multiple Domain Books, creating opportunities for you to advance your faction using a combination of books (like humanoids and fey).

A race of Giant/Gods dedicated to War and Combat.
Therefore remember, distant peal of thunder may not just be arriving storm. It could mean Thunderlords march to war!

8th Edition 40k Ranged Weapons: Flamer, Bolter, and Lascannon

I just finished the Warhound to go with my Reaver.  The Reaver was previously included the background of one pic I had submitted of my Chaos walkers, but I included more pics to go with the Warhound.  The Warhound has more detail & as a result was more difficult to paint & also assemble.  The sheer bulk of the Reaver made for easier drilling & pinning.

New 40k Profiles and What They Look Like

There are some big changes in here, including standard to hit rolls for both WS and BS. Interesting. Also of great interest is that you can see the toughness and strength stats of a few units, and see how many wounds we will have to be dealing with.

40k 8th Edition: The Templates Look Like They Are Going Away

Well we are getting some interesting information this morning, and this one makes it look like templates will be gone for the new edition of 40k.

This bit of info gives us a list of items that stores are being told are going to become obsolete..... and guess what, templates are on that list.

Games Workshops Big Announcement "Not Generals Handbook II"

So I have been informed the announcement tomorrow is not about the Generals Handbook II. Not much else beyond that, but that to not get your hopes up for the new Generals Handbook.

The Rebel Forge: Create a Faction

Today we have another fun faction for the Genesys Project. This one was created by a veteran, having created factions for the previous Humanoid Create a Faction contest. This is a good one to look at if you have having a hard time making a faction, as he goes into the a lot of detail on the Rebel Forge and what they are like and lays them out in his own way. So with that in mind, I included his entire submission which includes his own forms as well as the standard ones we use from Reverie Games so that you can see how this army would look, and possibly in the future as he campaigns with it.
