This Week's Releases with Prices- Battletome, Limited Edition, Prosecutors, and Upgrade Packs

This week we have already had revealed that we will be seeing a Stormcast Eternal Battletome, Prosecutors, a Prosecutor Hero.... but that is not all that is coming. Here is a full list of releases that includes Knights Excelsior and Celestial Warbringer upgrade packs. Prices etc are just below the break.

The Final 6 Days With Custom KR Multicases

All the armies for the Nova Charities are shipped with custom foam cases by KR Multi-cases. If you are not a fan of KR Multi-cases, well you should. I have a couple cases from KR and they are always high quality. Check out the images below showing off what the winner of these armies will get their newly won armies shipped them in. Who wouldn't want to win this?

Leaked Images: White Dwarf and Stormcast Eternals Battletome

Leaked images for both this week's White Dwarf, and the Stormcast Eternal Battletome that will be up for pre-orders are out. While it's not in English, you can definitely see the new Prosecutor Hero model coming, along with other new releases.

30k Releases Come Early 2016

The rumors for the Horus Heresy (30k) keep on coming, with a list of releases that are coming after the starter box set at the end of the year. The list is very big for a single month of releases they way things have been released over the last several month.

New Tau Spotted?

There is an image that I have been looking into today that was on Facebook that may have some hints to a new Tau codex. As I am not a Tau player, every detail about Firewarrior models and suits in this image are not my specialty. However, I have been digging for information this morning on it, and I figured it was time to post on it to see what the rest of you can dig out of this image.

Betrayal at Calth: Hex Based Game Board

Betrayal at Calth is apparently the title of the new stand alone game we have been hearing about for months. We had earlier it was called the Battle for Ultramar, but indeed the game seems to have two forces, the Word Bearers and the Ultramarines. This is on my list to pick up when it gets released.

Using the magnifying glass feature on the Forgeworld Webstore, someone has listed out some of the details they could see. This gives us a listing of what is on the Taghmata Army list in the Mechanicum book. Lords of War, Fortifications, and more revealed.

This one comes from a local redshirt, so take this with a lot of water to wash down the salt needed. However, we have been hearing several different versions of what is next, and we can now add this one to the list.

New Today: The Celestant Prime (video) and Citadel Air

New today for pre-orders is the is the Celestant Prime, the wielder of Ghal Maraz. Yes, I too was hoping for a Sigmar model, but this Celestant Prime model looks impressive. Also now for sale is the new citadel air line up. This is a complete line up of paints to match up with your existing paint line up for air brushes.

New Releases for DzC: and a Closer Looks at the new UCM!!!

New models are hitting the stores today, Vampires, Flakk Legionaires, and more for each faction. It's a great time to be playing Dropzone Commander, as the new roles and flexibility for each army are increasing drastically.

Ok, here it is, last stages before I neaten up my terrible painting skills. It still needs wash in a few areas and all the lights need to be done. However I want give it 3 layers of gloss before I move forward and as the UK met Office is predicting 80% + humidity for the next few weeks down in my part of the country I wont be risking it. So I will be sitting in a quite part of the house where it won't get bashed till the weather gets better. 

Scourge Vampires Complete.....

Dropzone Commander has new releases hitting the stores tomorrow, and they really are some nice models. First up I wanted to take a look at the Scourge Vampires, as they a really are one of the highlights of this weekends releases.

What is interesting about these guys, is all the little details on the model, combining flesh with machine in a way that only Scourge can do.

Sons of Horus Contemptor Dreadnought Repack

Forgeworld's Sons of Horus Dreadnought is currently sold out, but is coming back. So no need to panic. According to this, other Contemptor Dreadnoughts are most likely going to be re-packed as well.

New Mechanicum Forgeworld Releases

Today Forgeworld knocked it out of the park on a new release for the Horus Heresy and 40k!!!!, The Mechanicum Taghmata Army List. This brings all the Mechanicum lists in the Horus Heresy books into one book, and includes rules for expanding into 40k.

Not only was the Mechanicum book released, but alongside it the Magos Macrotek Enginseer with 4 Servo Automata. A great day for the Mechanicum!!!!

I have been working on my dark eldar carnival Sslyth conversions over the last month and now have enough completed for a small unit. They are heavily converted from the nurgle blight kings kit to look like fat lollipop clowns. This Week's White Dwarf: Two Ghal Maraz Arm Options for the Celestant Prime.

Often with models like the new Celestant Prime, I run into issues on how to get the model together, and tackling the painting. The Celestant Prime is one of the models that looks challenging for a lot of us. So its good to hear that there is reasonable sections this week on discussing how to get this model together.

The Celestant Prime has two Ghal Maraz options? Interesting.

Scourge Hunter and Screamer Completed

Finally I have these wrapped up and painted. While I will most likely bring these with me to Nova, they are not necessarily in my lists for the tournament. Once you get the heavy dropship painted, it looks rather good, as all the details come out. The Screamer is just an awesome model.

Horus Heresy Battle for Ultramar Contents

Rumored to be coming in October, the Battle for Ultramar Horus Heresy stand alone game has been on the forefront of the rumors for months. The origins of these rumors are from Hastings, and since then rumors have spread all over the place. Finally we have solid information that this will be coming in October, and the name of it seems to be getting locked down. Today we have some contents, beyond the sprues that we have seen.

Another article from the Alex over on Dropzone Commenter goes into what you may want to do before you start sending your dropships into their first battle. I especially like his reserve tables that could very easy find a place in your backfield to hold your fast movers and other reserved units.

Up front and personal with the NOCF Alaitoc Eldar

We wanted some close ups of the new Alaitoc Eldar army up for the Nova Charitable Raffles, (well at least I was wanting to some..) and here they are. I've always loved Eldar, even before I had any. I had always figured someday I would graduate with advanced painting skills to an Eldar Army. With this raffle, those skills are just not needed.... They are already done!

Dark Age Releases for August

There are some really nice looking models this month coming out for Dark Age. I may have to pick up Kane, simply because that model is spectacular, even though I play the Skarrd and Brood. Check out this months Dark Age releases.

Tau Coming in September

The current release themes in the rumor mill have us seeing Tau in September... quite possibly the later end of it, but soon nonetheless. There are also rumors of a Chaos making an appearance, but Tau seem to be on the forefront of the rumors right now. Of these we have had some reliable information that there will be two new suits and a new commander.

Faster Forgeworld Orders from the New Webstore

I was asked if anyone else had reported faster service from Forgeworld since the new webstore went up. I had not heard anything yet, nor ordered anything since the new store has gone live, so I figured we would ask the community. I do recall my Forgeworld orders taking a week+ to get here before the new webstore went up.

Battle for Ultramar- Stand Alone HH Game Title Revealed

The stand alone Horus Heresy game that we have been hearing so much about in the rumors, is finally getting some solid answers. It's rumored to be released in October, but any real details on it have been slow to get. Rumors of it being a ship boarding game are being discounted at this point, and now we have the Legions involved....... Ultramarines vs Word Bearers.

Hanzbur Anvilhelm leads the first Warrior Chamber of the Forgesworn Eternals, known colloquially as the Anvilhelms.

Grungni was commissioned by Sigmar to reforge the many heroes all over the realms. They were to become the Stormcast Eternals, Sigmar's greatest weapon against Chaos. Grungni asked for one stormhost he could reforge himself for his own. Grungni knew of the plight of the duardin and worked on creating what would become their greatest ally in their battle against Chaos. The heroes of the realms for this project couldn't be just anyone. Outlying some of the duardin holds were human settlements of hardy individuals who shared a close relationship with their duardin neighbors. They were tough and grim folk with the same respect for keeping promises and paying debts. One individual among them was a brave warrior named Hanzbur who fought alongside many duardin defenders against chaos incursions. Grungni took note of this one because he saw the duardin as equals to his own kind, and not inferior.

Altaitoc Eldar Army- The Countdown for This Army

A couple things to mention as we continue our countdown to the Nova Open Charity Raffles. First off, today we are looking at the Warhammer 40k Altaitoc Eldar Army that is up for the raffle. Im hoping that we can get some closer shots of these armies, especially the models in this Altaitoc army. Ive been told we will get some more exclusive pictures coming our way, so stay tuned and don't forget that this army could be yours...

Tau. New Commander On It's Way

This mornings source on the Tau has an additional bit to it, that a new XV 8 Commander will be released alongside the two new larger "Riptide" sized suits. Whether the suits are a single box set, with this as single clam pack (what previous rumors have said were coming) is yet to be seen. It does seem though that September will be a huge return to Warhammer 40k.

White Dwarf Leaks: This Week's Releases and Next Week's Hints

It seems that we are getting through the single model/week releases for the Age of Sigmar, and with September right around the corner, 40k rumors for the Tau, a possible Chaos release, and a stand alone game are starting to appear. 

Two New Suits for Tau!!!!

Tau are in the rumors as being the next Warhammer 40k release, but just what will be new or changed is still much of a mystery or wishlisting. However, a very solid source has chimed in this morning with some hints as to what we will be seeing.

This Week's Releases with Prices.

We have a release list now with the pricing. I had thought Prosecutors might come this week alongside the Celestant Prime, but no go. It's apparently a single Age of Sigmar release per week. So this week looks a little light on releases, and whoa, the price point for the Celestant Prime is $80? A little much for myself, as the cost is more than a Land Raider and about the same as a Stormraven. I'll reserve judgement until we get a good look at the model.

Leaked Images: Citadel Airbrush Paints!!!

We have a full line up of 51 new Airbrush Paints from Citadel this coming weekend. While we have the information now for several days, there are now some leaked images revealing the new pots. There is also an airbrush cleaner and paint thinner being released alongside the new paints.

Blood Warriors and the Behold the Chaos Dreadhold Fortress!

I really like this set, as it would be a dominant part of a person's collection and could carry over from the Age of Sigmar to 40k and beyond. Games Workshop today has pre-orders going up for the Dreadfort... either complete... or broken down to whatever price point you want to jump in at. Very well done and thank you.

Also up today are the Blood Warriors, a hardback Battletome for the Dreadfort (might as well if you are getting the entire fort pick up the book), and a novel for the Realmsgate Wars.

Chaos Codex, and a New Daemon Engine Coming

A new rumor is floating around now hinting at a Chaos codex coming soon. Along with it a new Daemon Engine would be a part of the release. It's been awful quiet for Warhammer 40k, and the expected next codex release is Tau. So this would be a nice shock to the system, but not out of the realm of possibility atm. Especially with all the Age of Sigmar releases. Perhaps some crossover on the models?
