Next Week's Pre-Orders- Cult Mechanicus and a Hint of Nurgle?

Next weeks pre-orders are very early, as we usually do not get wind of them for another couple days. However the new Cult Mechanicus has made a big splash, so it was more than likely intentional that we would see these. Those new Kastelan Robots are just punishment for anything that is not a terminator.

Imperial Knights: Knightly Heirlooms

Knightly Heirlooms are the artifacts and relics of the Imperial Knights. While a lot of information has been revealed out of the White Dwarf for this week's pre-orders- Codex: Imperial Knights, I haven't yet seen this. So lets take a look at what items we can bring forward with this new codex.

Cult Mechanicus Leaks!!!!!! Kastelan Robot Maniples

The rules for the Kastelan Robot Maniples are out. They are now as we are talking all over the internet showing us that the new robots have protocols that can be changed as the battle progresses. Also shown are many of the new rules and and equipment that we will be seeing.

A Lord of War for Cult Mechanicus or Not

The most recent leaked images have mentioned that the Knight Warden is an Adeptus Mechanicus Imperial Knight. This suggests that it is a Lord of War for the upcoming Cult Mechanicus Codex as well as for the Imperial Knights codex. So will these two codices being sharing the Knight? or will there be rules in the Imperial Knight codex allowing it to be shared with other allied forces.

Leaked!!! Cult Mechanicus Pics

In next week's White Dwarf there is apparently a free Kight poster that on the reverse has the entire range of Cult Mechanicus listed and shown. Whoa, the leaks are coming, and the model range looks fantastic.

Imperial Knight Release Details

Details of this week's releases give us pricing, and shows us that the old Imperial Knight box set is going to be around a while longer if you don't want to buy the upgraded sprues for the new Knights.

New Citadel brushes, they actually look pretty sharp and useful...VERY expensive.

New Knight codex is $41.

Blades of the Traitor anthology released in hardback next week.

New Knight kit is $157 but builds all FIVE types (addition of Warden, Gallant, and Crusdaer) and allows upgrades to the Paladin and Errant.

Old kit is staying and is still $140 and will be just the Errant and Paladin without access to the new sprue.

Paint splatter also hinting at Cult Mechanicus.

Knight Warden will be a Lord of War.

Forces of the Cult Mechanicus

There has been a lot of speculation over the Cult Mechanicus forces, and of course lots of questions. Everything from are their transports, to are there any troop choices (rumors have been pointing to none)? Here are a few answers we get a look at the rumored units of Cult Mechanicus.

An observation was sent in from a reader who had previously ordered a set of Pink Horrors a few months back, and then again just recently.... This of course could of been a mistake in packing.... but the most recent pink horror box was discovered to only have round bases in it.

Iyanden- Games Workshop Responds

Since the release of the Eldar codex, there has been a big question on what to do with the Iyanden supplement. Of course it was one of my favorite eldar releases, and many people in the hobby had hoped that this trend would continue. Dropfleet: Some Close Up Photos to see all the Details

Dropfleet models and information have hit from last weekend's Salute event. We have seen lots of pictures, but to be honest, most did get a lot of the details, simply because their were lots of crowds around the Hawk Wargames booths.

Pre-Order Times Moved Back- and How They Effect You?

Pre-Order times have moved back from Friday to Saturday, and this last weekend was the first of these with the release of the new Assassinorum board game. This was done apparently to help relieve some of the pressures that people were feeling trying to get a hold of limited releases and sometimes extremely time sensitive orders.

Cult Mechanicus- Kataphron Destroyers

Kataphron Destroyers are mechanical bodies attached to track assemblies. The rumor this morning pins them as Heavy Support Choices with plasma cannon and other large heavy weaponry as options. According the same source, these may be a dual kit, with a close combat variant optional build.

Last year we were talking briefly about Games Workshop changing their storefronts to "Warhammer". This has happened in a couple places, and on occasion I get contacts discussing it, or readers that say yea! I was travelling and just saw one. Well, according to rumors, this is now spreading to other stores.

The latest information is that each year a new event model will be revealed at Salute. A Double Decker Battle Bus is awesome! Of course I need at least 4! Enough to fill up two Krakens.

Re-Directs are No More..........

Just a heads up for readers and those that love to dig for rumors... the Age of Re-Directs are gone. It was obvious that these would not last too long, but we did learn a lot from them. Namely that there was a lot on GW's plate, and the pages on the GW webstore are reserved for a lot of models.
