Resistance Starter Set Cover Pic!!
We have this first image of the new Resistance Starter box set that will be released on August 30th from Hawk Wargames. I will be the one to say that this box set look very full of models for the Resistance. Definitely a very cool way to get into the Resistance. This is the first time I have seen these models painted.
Space Wolves: Lots of New Leaked Images Making the Rounds
There are new images coming out now as people start getting their early copies of the latest White Dwarf. These images are in German, and there looks to be a new Wolf Priest Terminator model in the pics. These pics of course are already on most forums and many other sites as well, so here are some links.
Archangel Gabriel, Cool Sculpts, and the Skarrd
Now he did it. Mr. Black has given us the preview of the new Archangel Gabriel rule card. Not only that there are some nice sculpts of the new Warknight Captain, and a look into 2015 for the Skarrd (a faction I have so am very interested in the updates)

Recently there has been a few small updates for Warhammer 40k in the FAQs. They have not really been all that much, and the most recent in the Space Marine FAQ was simply a one word change for cluster mines.

Wolf Lord Options Include a Chariot
Described as a Landsled, or Chariot, it looks like Space Wolves will be getting a Wolf sled as an option for Logan Grimnar and any Wolf Lords. I will be interested to see the direction the models take of these Landsleds pulled by Thunderwolves.
Forgeworld Shows Off Night Lords and Iron Warriors Contemptor Dreadnoughts

Venerable Dreadnought's With Blizzard Shields/ Next Week's Release "The Great Wolf"
The idea of a dreadnought getting an invulnerable 3+ save is one thing, and make that a Venerable Dreadnought like the leaks have shown this to be, and you have a recipe for dishing out a lot of death to your opponent. I am a big fan of dreadnoughts, but still have thought that they were hard to use, especially in close combat under 6th and 7th edition. This looks like a great update to the dreadnought.

Games Workshop's Financial News
I generally dont like these, but they are news to a lot of people. We all have an investment into this game, and hobby, and I very much like to see Games Workshop succeed. So while I am not going to talk about these numbers, I will have a short link to where you can analyze the numbers yourself.
The Big Bomb Preview
There is an aircraft attached to this huge bomb the size of a tank. Of course it belongs to the resistance and was the most talked about part of the Resistance line up at Valhalla this year. Its a huge bomb. Of course I have some great video on it, and what the two barrels alongside the bomb do as well.
Warhammer Fest in the United States?
With Warhammer Fest being the new venue in place of Games Day, the question comes up whether or not we will see them elsewhere, like the Australia or in North America. While the answer is not out yet, there are some good hints we wont be seeing one until next year.
Leaked Images of Murderfang
We had listed a lot of these stats out a few days ago, and now the images are leaked showing the details of Murderfang. He is a close combat fiend, although with this strength of 7 is meant for taking down elite forces rather than armoured vehicles or other dreads.

Crazy 12,000pt Dropzone Commander Batrep
A few nights back, we had a 12,000pt Dropzone Commander game. Besides being a very large game with three players in a free for all, we incorporated several different missions to create a truly unique and chaotic battlefield. The Shaltari Tribes, United Colonies of Mankind, and the Post Human Republic were all represented here, as we battled for the following mission parameters........
The End of an Era
As it stands, the current Chairman and CEO of Games Workshop is stepping down. His announcement went out today, and while I believe this happened once before with Tom Kirby, there is no reason not believe this is happening.
Resistance: Motorcycle Full Previews
These definitely look really tight. Cant wait to see these models. Perhaps these are an elite scout force of bikes? I see what looks like a grenade launcher and spotlight on all three.
Dark Age New Sculpts and Previews
More incredible images of new sculpts coming from Dark Age miniatures. These are looking fantastic. Dark Age has for the last year or so, been one of the games I like to play, and these sculpts and previews make want to start a new faction. Of course now that August is almost here, these releases are getting close. Gencon is the date we will start to see these.

Three Month Release Schedule Revealed
Wayland Games has released the information for Dropzone Commander's future with the Resistance. A very cool schedule, as it gives us a look at the models names ahead. I especially like the Breaching Drill, the Hellhog, and more. Lots of fun, and with this you can now plan ahead.
Murderfang Details and a Leaked Image
Murderfang is coming, a new Space Wolf Unique Dreadnaught Unique who's rules are in this coming weekend's White Dwarf. Here is a quick peak at those rules, which are dedicated to slaughtering those in close combat that get too close.

Blood Angels and Dark Eldar
We have been talking in the past from rumored release schedules, that both Blood Angels and Dark Eldar are going to be next. Of course our rumors have it in the reverse, Dark Eldar later this year, followed by Blood Angels most likely at the beginning of next year. With the release schedule the way it has been though, that could easily be moved up to this fall, with some Fantasy (Brettonians) in between.

Zombicide Season Three is just wrapping up its kickstarter with only a couple days left. I was introduced to this game at Valhalla this last year, and there it was being constantly played non stop. Of course this project is already very well funded, but if you wanted to get in on the action, there isnt much time left.
Resistance Fighters Preview
Whoa, the Resistance has dedicated special close quarter combat squads. Not only that, but it looks like they basically use any weapon or tool they can find for a weapon. Weapons shown look like, punching daggers, pick axes, huge hammers, and a chainsaw.

Helicopter Gunship Preview
A Helicopter Gunship is still one of the biggest surprises for myself when it came down to the Resistance previews. This one will be interesting, as now beyond seeing fast moving flyers screaming across the tabletop, we will have slower moving helicopters unleashing their payloads in the streets of our games. I have a feeling I will be on the receiving end of these gunships.
