Inquisition Digital Codex Update is Live

Tonight an update was launched for the Inquisition codex. The sad part is I have been trying for the better part of an hour to download it, and have as of this moment been unsuccessful. Of course I will continue trying, but if someone else has the update downloaded and knows what it contains, please share.

It seems the orks just do not want to be kept at bay, and Ork Waaagh is just so overwhelming that it keeps jumping ahead of its release schedule.

Release Schedule: Slight Push Back

A source here on Faeit 212 is adjusting his release Games Workshop Release Schedule back a little. What it does do is open up July to a not yet named set of releases. Of course Orks are still going, but I find it odd that Orks would continue much into July, and Chaos Daemons have been mentioned as being next for model releases.

New from Forgeworld this week, and available for pre-order is the Thanatar heavy Siege-Automata. Its available now for pre-order and will be dispatched Monday, June 30th.

We saw the Thanatar earlier this year at Forgeworld's Open Day, and finally we are seeing this high anticipated release for the Mechanicum forces.

Hawk Wargames Campaign Packs: Coming Soon

Something new and as of yet not talked about on this site is coming from Hawk Wargames; a Campaign Pack. While I have had very little information about this, its coming very soon and looks to be an amazing set of scenarios and landscapes to take your Dropzone Commander Battles to. Not only will the games be fun, but Hawk Wargames is supporting stores that want to support the Campaign, and putting out these packs as close to "at cost" as they can.

Ork Lords of War Codex Leaked Images; Ghazghkull Supplement Rumors.

Ghazghkull Thraka and Stompa points in plain sight now as Lords of War from the upcoming Ork codex. Many of the image leaks come from La Taberna de Laurana, even though they are being put up elsewhere without any credits on their origins.

Eternal Crusade's Founder Packs Go Live

Today is the first day that you can become part of the Founder's Program for the new MMO set in the 40k universe Eternal Crusade. The Founder's Program is not a crowd funding, but instead is an early pre-order for the already funded game that will release in the Fall of 2015. Hawk Wargames has a new Scenery Pack release today up for Pre-Order, that just came up on their website this morning. The M116 Bunker Complex Scenery Pack is now available with a shipping date of June 28th.

Leaked New Realms of Battle Board

There are rumors of a new Realms of Battle Board being released by Games Workshop, and the first image of it is being leaked according to Lord of War Gaming. The image shows a single ruined city board, that definitely has peaked my interest, but was not shown in the leaked White Dwarf images we have seen elsewhere.

Armies on Parade is a Go This Year

White Dwarf 21 mentions that Armies on Parade is indeed happening this year. There had been lots of questions and rumors based off of nothing being mentioned by Games Workshop about the event earlier this year. Its a good event to keep going, as you can see from one of the winners from 2012 in the pic above.

Its been a little quiet on the Dropzone front on the site, but that doesnt mean that nothing has been going on. I have been working on my Harbinger army for my Scourge. Lord Inquisitor: New Trailer Released!!!

A project that has been going on for almost as long as I have been blogging, Lord Inquisitor today put out a new trailer for its unofficial Warhammer 40k movie. Erasmus has done an amazing job with this, as we have seen in the past trailers. There definitely has been a lot of new work done.

Leaks Reveal Next Week's Pre-Orders

New releases for pre-order this coming weekend, include a new codex supplement for Orks, Waaagh Ghazghkull and Ork Meganobz. Besides that there are some other misc bundles like Ork Trukk Boyz and a Deff Rolla Battlewagon coming.

What's On Your Table: Smurfs Droppod Army

The second half of What's On Your Table is a look at Shannon's Smurf Droppod Army. Definitely a lot of fun with this one on a Sunday Night. One last note.... A tournament did not allow this army to be fielded, which is OK, but also sad. This army is a ton of fun, and I personally would love to have gotten my butt handed to me in a tournament by Smurfs. A lot of people were denied a truly unique gaming experience at that event.

Imperial Armour 4 and a New Tyranid Monster

Imperial Armour 4 is currently being worked on for second edition release later this year. To top that great news off, a new Tyranid monster is being worked on. Of course we have seen some images that might give us a large death leaper type creature in the recent past that was a wip, but we don't know anything more on what this beast might be.

40k Tactical Objectives Return

Tactical Objective cards have been hard to get ahold of for retailers, either because there is simply not enough of them or they were popular. Regardless, I have now heard a date as to when these cards will become available again, and we are still a few weeks out. So a little patience if you are still waiting for some.
