A List Building Function Built into The Digital Codex?

I have a couple reports now that the digital codex for Space Marines will have a list building app or section in it. Now I will be the first to tell you that I tried getting on the Games Workshop site to verify this, ..... and the site is basically slammed right now, and impossible to load. Wow, I can't imagine how many people are trying to get their pre-orders in right now, hopefully the world doesn't run out of them.

Ork Psykers On Steriods, That Is Until They Explode

Yesterday morning we had a rumor that seemed a little out there when first looking at it, but the more readers commented on what was said, the more seemed like there was something to this. Of course, it also helps when we get information from a solid source that mirrors the previous rumor, and then goes into more detail.

New Citadel Spray Paints Are Here

New Spray Paints are coming. The new colors in a can will be mephiston red, caliban green, macragge blue and the fang. As much as I would like to see these, its just probably not one of the products I would be using. These according to the price lists we saw, will be available on Sept 7th alongside the Space Marine releases.

Lately we have been getting a lot of rumors about Space Marines, mostly from 40k Radio. I wanted to address the massive information that we have been getting.

The Latest on Space Marines: What is in the Codex and What is not.

This is a massive information dump on what is coming in a few short weeks in the Space Marine codex. If you are still doubting they are coming..... I have read the White Dwarf with my own two eyes, they are coming.

Dark Age Releases New Cards for Several Factions

The new updates are here, and soon a new rulebook and more. For the last three days the new cards are being released in waves, and soon in a downloadable pdf. They will also be able to be purchased of course in faction packs.

Dark Age is rather shinning at the moment, and a lot of new models and more are coming very soon.

This morning we have an older Tyranid playtest set, that is about 6-7 months old according to the source. So while looking at playtest rumors, its important to note that playtest rules tend to look much different than what the codex is, but still gives us a direction and feel for the how the codex might end up. 

Questions Answered for Space Marines

This is a Massive set of Question and Answers that have come from 40k radio. We know that they now have a Final Print Copy, which is very close to the final product.

Hell Dorado: A Look at the Miniatures

Finally have some models to show you from the Hell Dorado I got before I left for vacation. Very cool models, and of course I was playing around with the video editor.

So check them out, both Demons and the Westerners. Augustinus Raimond is by far one of my favorite models in these two sets. What a cool set of armor, he is the last model I show for the Westerners.

Other favorites to check out.....of course the Succubus, Asaliah the Rebel Angel, Evrynome the Prince of Death, and the Doppelsoldners (two armored warriors for the Westerners).

The Future of Finecast

There has been rumors in the past so many months, that Finecast is here just temporarily, and at some point Games Workshop may be moving to all plastic or some other material. I will be the first to claim ignorance when it comes to this side of our hobby, in regards to molding, costs, and the viability of different materials for our miniatures.

So here is the latest rumor bits on the future of Finecast.

There is a lot of information that I am working through right now, but one rumor sticks out.... Authors of Upcoming codices. Its interesting to note, that although Tyranids look to be set for November, they were not included in this rumor set.

Tyranid Rumors: Erinye/ Harpy Plastic Dual Kit and More

There is a large group of Tyranid rules that are now floating around on 4Chan and all the forums by now. Its hard to tell how good of a rumor this is, so take it with a little extra salt until we can get more information. In my opinion, if this is real in any way, its from playtest material.

Armageddon 2014

There seems to be a lot of whispers that 2014, at least the first part of it will be focused on Armageddon and the armies that were there. I have been getting small bits from a couple different sources, mentioning everything from Blood Axes, to Speed Freaks, Steel Legion to Salamanders, and even the Black Templar.

So if Orks and Imperial Guard are looking to be the first codices of 2014, Armageddon is looking to be coming.

Tyranids Can Ally with Themselves: Details and More

We are getting some details to really the biggest question of them all for Tyranids, and that is how are Tyranids going to handle allies. Essentially it was widely perceived that Tyranids got the bum deal at the onset of 6th edition, simply because they were the only army stuck by themselves with no ally options. With rumors starting to come in that Tyranids would be able to ally with themselves, I wanted to know more.

The New "Warhammer 40k Space Wolf" Video Game

Space Wolf, a tactical turn-based Warhammer 40,000 game for the PC, iOS and Android is due to be released sometime in 2014. Studio Herocraft is now licensed for the game, which will be turn based with actions based on collectible cards. The game features Space Wolves facing off against the Word Bearers and Necrons.

GW Starting a New Website

A hobby oriented Games Workshop site is now rumored to launch early 2014, that will include a more integrated product line-up in its store. Included will be Black Library and by the end of the year, Forgeworld. It seems that this is possibly a long term design plan, that is finally going to be taking hold.

Imperial Guard/Steel Legion Release Details

Imperial guard rumors are still coming in suggesting that Steel Legion will be a big focus of the release and in the codex release, which is still on the schedule for January or March. I am going to bet on January, but the rumors are all still flipping on the dates between March and January.

Tyranids: A Week of Information

Quite a few sources are saying that Tyranids are up next, exactly what is it that we will be seeing. After all Tyranids and how they will handle the FOC and/ or Allies are one of the biggest questions for the future of 40k. Lets take a look at what we are expecting to see.
