Devil Nacht is Upon U

The screams filled the night, . There were no alarms, no warnings for what befell us. The still night had erupted in terror, and there was nothing and no one that could save us.

I had been wounded in the initial strike, the burning toxins ravaging my body. As I lay there in the darkness being consumed from the inside, only the screams were able to break through my delirium.
  

Soon my body had broken, the screams that were my own subsided.  I felt warm, the cool breeze of the open air on my face. At last I had found the respite of my own death, and I deftly welcomed it. 

Intent and welcoming, I open my eyes to see the lithe armored warrior that had claimed my life. I am without feeling, and he can sense my relief. 

While his face is covered by a helm that hides his features, I see the gleam in his eyes, the hunger. The pistol is already in his hand as he lowers his face to mine. The world erupts with ear piercing screams, new toxins anchoring me to this world, to begin my torment anew. The screams fill the night, and they are mine.


I am in route to Valhalla, so thought a little themed story was in order. I believe I wrote this last August when I needed a sick day.

Quest for the Holy Grail: Dice Part 2

This is part of two of my obsessiveness about dice. Yes, I have bought dice by the pound, and am not ashamed to admit it. In fact, I have Mcmenamin's Beer Jars full of dice. I know most of you do not know what that is, but picture a very large Jar that is meant for holding beer.. This is about  more research I have put into dice.

Eldar and Necrons Are Hitting the Table

Both Eldar and Necrons are missing from the large display cabinets at GW HQ as of Friday. This likely means that in the upcoming battle report for the June's White Dwarf will include Eldar vs Necrons, or at least some pics. With an Eldar codex release expected for June, its all starting to line up.

This is Our Hobby: Flyers in 6th Edition, A Prisoner's Dilemma

The latest edition of our beloved hobby has brought many changes to the ways in which we build, paint, and most of all, play. What I am Taking To Valhalla

Here is a little video I put together quickly showing off the armies and models I am taking to the Valhalla event next week. One thing of special interest, is that all of these models on the table fit into my new Battlefoam case with the exception of the Stormraven. That case fits a ton of models.

Why the Interest in Fantasy on Faeit 212?

A lot of long time Eldar fans really want Phil Kelly to be writing the Eldar codex that we expect out next month. This morning though I received an email that telling me that it really wasn't such a mystery who is writing the codex, because he was told by the author himself that he was doing it. Flying High Returns to Fantasy with Skaven

9th edition has been part of the Fantasy talk for some time, and now word is out that Fantasy's new edition will return with flying options. Now this makes sense as both Fantasy and 40k tend to feed each other, and as such, I would expect 9th to also include a heavy dose of allies rules as well.

Is Dawn of War 3 Being Worked On?

According to this, there is a strong possibility that Dawn of War 3 is going forward. Of course that also sounds like an out, since the possibility of it not happening exists.

A First Look at the Battle Foam Black Label RJ-16 Case

Here is a quick video on the case I just received today. I am not quite sure what happened to my video quality on it, but I just too tired right now to go back in and get it worked out. I will look at it in the morning.

The case itself arrived on time today, and tomorrow I will start sitting down with it all and see exactly how much I am going to be able to bring with me to the Valhalla event.

More confirmations that Eldar are to be released on June are coming in. In fact some recognizable names (unfortunately I can't name and have deleted and blacked out) are confirming the dates. Its looking very likely that Eldar are indeed right around the corner.

Eldar Farseer Model Digital Reconstruction
