Just saw the product list at my game store (not gw)
here's what I remember
March 3rd
hive tyrant/swarmlord kit 42 eur
tervigon/tyrannofex kit 45,50 eur plastic
plastic thunderwolves, 3 a box 43 eur
plastic fenrisian wolves 5 a box 19,50 eur
plastic wolf lord on thunderwolf 1 a box 33 eur
arjac rockfist finecast 21 eur
something to do with paints, which i didn't look at
WHFB Hellcannon in finecast 45,50 eur 17th of March
sorry I mistook the glue for the paints (Nid fixation will do that)
I think it was just superglue and plasticglue, maybe repackaged?
So to be absolutely clear, I saw No paints on the list
via OnTheEdge
just relayed the same list that he got from an email from his local Swedish shop, only difference being that the Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf is finecast instead of plastic. Which would make sense considering his price

Do you trust these two resources?
ReplyDeletethe information is fresh, so I am sure we will have collaboration on it soon. Hopefully pics as well.
Delete3 Thunderwolves/box... nice.
ReplyDeleteTo think I have just finished my Thunderhoof Cav Conversions... sigh.
pricy ._.
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited to see if this is real, and I don't play either army.
ReplyDeleteIm excited as a school girl meeting Justin Beiber! Dont even play nids and im even excited about them.
ReplyDeletehopefully up for advance order on Friday!
ReplyDeletePlease dont bash me but why is there gonna be a new hive tryant kit that can be made into the Swarmlord? What was wrong with the other hive tyrant? Again please dont bash me if the answer is too obvious for me to see :P
ReplyDeleteI would say nothing is wrong with it. I think it is a great model personally. I guess the obvious gripe is the lack of left handed bone swords to complete a true Swarmlord. Granted, there are casters out there making some money by sculpting and selling their own concepts. IMO, most of those kits aren't as cool as the right handed bone sword that comes with the original. Furthermore, I've read on other blogs and forums that the Hive Tyrant isn't actually modeled to ideal scale. Apparently some people out there think it should be bigger, like a Trygon. It will be interesting to see what changes GW made if this rumor turns out to be true. Which for my sake, I hope it does :-)
DeleteExcellent news! Still no new Necrons though!
ReplyDeleteMOAR NIDS to be consumed for the red harvest! Im as excited as a kid in a candy store right now. We needed the extra diversity in the nid army.
ReplyDeleteI will throw my weight in on this rumor for whatever it is worth. I heard about the Thunderwolf Three Pack a few days ago as for the rest makes sense.
ReplyDeleteAnother good confirmation.
DeleteThere are others as well now confirming this information. Its as good as confirmed.
Is it just me or do most tyranid players complain and whine alot?
ReplyDeleteIt's just you.
DeleteIn fairness, they've got a hell of a lot to complain about! They're trying to make the best of a bad codex which has been made even harder when the two 'must have' units haven't models! I really feel for all the Nid players out there.
DeleteI don't look at the Tyranids page on GW a lot, but is it normal that the only HQ they have up is the Tyrant Guard?
ReplyDeleteNo Harpy? :(
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to see the thunderwolves. I've already got third party ones though. I also wonder if the hive tyrant kit will have all the options like wings.....
ReplyDeletePlease god yes!
Deleteat last! this better be true but going to cost me a fortune. think will have to ration my purchases....
ReplyDeleteNo doom, no spores, no harpy? I guess that's it for the second 'wave'....
ReplyDeletethere are Pictures out!

There also seems to be a harpy coming. Because there is one in the background on the pictures.
And I think it's no Kitbash or Conversion.
Fap Fap Fap
DeleteI may be wrong but I think that "harpy" kit is simply the hive tyrant with wings option. I know there is a box picture of it - but honestly they took a hive tyrant and put balrog wings on it - theres no way thats a "harpy". The Thunderwolves and Fenrisian wolves look great! The tervigon and tyrannofex are about equivalent to their codex pictures. The models aren't bad, but I don't know if someone who made some good conversions will necessarily want to pick them up. The plastic tyrant is a nice edition - but the swarmlord leaves a little to be desired. Honestly the codex art makes him look pretty sweet - the addons to the tyrant kit make him look like...well a tyrant with 4 bonesabres. Of interesting note is the 9th picture that shows what looks to be like a THIRD opion for the tervigon/tyrannofex kit? Perhaps this is the rumored white dwarf monstrous creature? Interesting.
DeleteI have the pictures, and the winged model is the hive tyrant with wings option.

ReplyDeleteSeems like GW tooks the old/new Resin Tyrant and give him some new Bitz.
ReplyDeleteCost-effective for GW + = Style-Points for Swarmlord -
Latest Post has pics and full release information.
